Been here?
Large, freely pitched campsite directly beside the Elbląski Canal, with views of a boat lift, spacious meadows, picnic areas and a children’s playground. Toilets are clean, electricity and water are available, showers are included, and cassette emptying uses a drain shaft, although some facilities are limited while construction continues. Recent reports include 80 Zloty for one person, a camper and electricity, and 140 PLN for a caravan, 2 adults and 2 children with electricity. The area is quiet, but can become muddy after rain.

The site is nicely laid out, but it is very muddy when it rains. The toilet was clean; the showers were not really to our liking. A restaurant is supposed to open next year; it is currently under construction, along with new sanitary facilities. Technically modern, with access through a barrier and video surveillance, and the owner comes in the morning to collect payment. The owner is very friendly, by the way!
A great campsite with a direct view of the canal and the inclined plane. Sanitary facilities are available and clean. I paid 80 zloty per night for one person with a camper and electricity, which was perfectly reasonable! A boat trip is a must :-))
A nature-oriented camping spot directly by the boat lift. Very relaxing, with pleasant cycle paths. A boat trip is possible within walking distance, lasting 2–4.5 hours depending on the schedule. The sanitary facilities were clean and unisex. A restaurant is currently being built and should open by autumn 2026. Otherwise, there are no shopping options. Poor mobile reception; free Wi-Fi is intermittently available on site.
Price 140 PLN per caravan, 2 adults and two children, electricity included. Showers and toilets clean and maintained. The campsite is under construction, but the services are sufficient.
Very good view. A front-row spot by the inclined plane is possible because you can choose your own place. The washing-up area has only lukewarm water and is not covered. We stayed for two nights. The sanitary area was cleaned once during that time; from our arrival Friday afternoon until Sunday noon, nothing was cleaned again. We paid 80 zloty for two people in a short camper without electricity; euros are accepted.
A really lovely spot with good opportunities to learn more about the boat lift, take a boat trip, and take beautiful photos. But 140 PLN—not 120 PLN—for a motorhome and two people on a partly uneven meadow with unsatisfactory sanitary facilities, only three not particularly clean showers and toilets, is simply far too expensive.
The site is very spacious. We chose a spot right at the front. Electricity and water are available, though not at every spot. Showers and toilets are clean, but clearly insufficient when fully occupied. The site is still being developed. Value for money is okay. We had a peaceful night and were satisfied.
Wonderful, peaceful site, directly on the shipping route, from where you can easily walk to the landing stage and take a boat trip. We would gladly return.
Weve stayed here twice already and will definitely be back. Huge campsite with plenty of space under the trees or out in the open whatever you prefer. We even saw a stork wandering around the field. Water taps are conveniently spread across the site. Great location right next to the ships. New clean facilities (a bit small but ok as theyre in a container). A bar is being built. Very friendly owner.
Great location with a view of the boats. We arrived around 4 p.m. and watched three ships in the evening and four more before departure in the morning. There are three toilets and three showers. The barrier opens automatically; you do not need to take a parking ticket. Payment is collected in the morning. 90 zloty for a VW bus without electricity. The price is reasonable.
Wonderful, natural camping spot. Showers, toilets, and washing-up facilities are available. You can choose your own place.
We stayed here for one night. You can choose a place on the many meadows. There are electricity connections everywhere. Fresh water and waste disposal are available by the sanitary building. Toilets, showers, and washing-up facilities are all present and very clean. The owner comes to collect payment in the morning, and a snack bar is being built. You can get a good view of the ships rolling along the ramp.
You stay on a large meadow, with the wonderful spectacle of boats being hauled across the meadow right in front of you. The owner is still developing the site, so I do not know whether 35 euros with electricity is justified. When we arrived, two toilets and two showers were available, all unisex. But everything was far too small. They certainly saved money in the wrong place. What a shame.
This place has potential. The new manager is investing a lot and has ideas for organizing this campsite. The location is unique, and the sight of boats gliding across the grass is impressive. It is certainly better to spend time here than sleep in a parking area.
I can only confirm what was written before. Unfortunately, only two showers were available for women and men. Capacity was tight, but the campers handled it amicably. We paid 140 zloty for the night, collected in person the next morning.
Huge area; you simply choose a spot with an ideal view of the extraordinary spectacle of boats being hauled overland through the lock system—why watch television? Absolutely peaceful and natural. The toilet and shower capacity is tight and very limited. You should stock up on food beforehand, as both a supermarket and restaurants are far away.
Directly from the motorhome, we could watch ships being hauled up a lock. We would have gladly paid for the wonderful one-night stay, but neither in the evening nor in the morning did we see anyone to whom we could give our money. Even the payment machine was covered up. If the camera captured our license plate, the owner is welcome to contact us.
We were the only guests there on April 30. Very idyllic location on the Oberland Canal. The owner invited us for free at the start of the season. An excellent base for visitors to the unique ship locks.
Nice place and peaceful sleeping. The site is large, but I find there are too few toilets and showers—only three of each. If it is full, that seems insufficient to me.
The meadow was very waterlogged because of the rain; otherwise, a very pleasant stay.
A wonderful, peaceful place. There are enough spaces. The toilets and showers are clean and sufficient. We felt very comfortable.
Very well located directly on the canal, but 130 PLN is simply too much for a hilly meadow and a very basic sanitary building.
Beautiful natural site. You can wonderfully watch the ships on the ramp and also take a ride directly from here. It is a shame that there are only two toilets and showers for all campers.
Simply great here. There are now enough electrical hookups at the back, directly by the ramp, provided you bring a sufficiently long extension reel. The only thing still missing is a gray-water drain.
