Camping Finsterhof

A beautiful campsite. We were passing through and stopped here for one night. We received a very friendly welcome and had a really enjoyable time in nature. The animals alone are worth coming for. I can only recommend it!✦Translating

We have now been here for the third time. The operators, Lisa and Christian, were very friendly, and everything needed was available. This time, one star deducted because the grass was very high, so you could not see the electrical cables, creating a tripping hazard.✦Translating

An old-fashioned campsite where you feel at home. Even the motorhome campers offer coffee to cyclists. A very nice communal area for rainy weather. For only €17 (1 tent and 2 cyclists).✦Translating

Close to nature, rustic, animal-friendly, and welcoming. The owners and long-term campers are all friendly and family-like! Anyone looking for more luxury and glamping is in the wrong place at a centuries-old traditional property like Finsterhof! The only possible drawback is the busy main road, which can still be heard at night in the tent. Perfect for us in a campervan, and we will definitely come back!!!✦Translating

The owners were very kind; they even received us after reception had closed, despite us writing only 30 minutes in advance, and we paid the next day. Very clean and warm bathroom. A large place that must be very enjoyable in summer. Improvements: another electrical hookup would be excellent. Six minutes of hot water may be too little. The aesthetics could be improved. Some long-term female campers have recently started organizing themed events on Saturdays. We went there for Oktoberfest and it was really lovely. Thank you. Otherwise, everything a camper needs is available, with a very nice and friendly atmosphere. Thank you!✦Translating

More could be made of it. Very friendly owner and a very nice welcome. Watch out for the goats and their droppings, as it is easy to step in them. The facilities need an update, but everything is clean. Definitely worth a visit for children because of the animals.✦Translating

Great place for children and dogs. We only wanted to spend one night while passing through, but stayed four nights instead. The great playground, goats, cows, guinea pigs, and rabbits won us over. It is nice that everyone has enough space and places to retreat to. Cozy site with many beautiful trees. We will gladly come back.✦Translating

Very nice hosts, they even waited for us to arrive after closing hours because we were delayed. Nice wc/bath with hot water and washing machine/dryer. "Kitchen"/oven and bakeoff bread was very nice option. We stayed for two nights 4 adult, 1 dog in mobilhome and payed 90€. Very cosy with the animals and lots of space.
