Free parking, muddy after rain

A parking area, poorly maintained and moderately dirty. We wanted to stay overnight, but it is in complete isolation, so we did not feel safe, especially since there were no other campers.

I parked here to visit the Mole di Narni. I found absolute squalor: a dirty car park full of puddles and mud. Then... I could not find the caves, but the road leading there is just as awful as the car park. So I left and certainly will not return. Please be more objective when writing your reviews.

I stopped for just one night to visit the Nera gorges. In the evening, after all the visitors had left, I was alone until quite late at dinner time. Later another camper arrived. Spacious car park, but on weekends I recommend arriving early in the morning or late afternoon. THE MOLE DEL NERA ARE CLOSED. The cycle and pedestrian path to Narni starts from the car park and is beautiful.

Excellent for visiting the Nera area...

No services, a bit dusty but convenient for Stifone, where there is the village and the springs. At the far end of the car park there is a connection to the cycle and pedestrian path along the old Ancona–Rome railway, which takes you to the springs in fifteen minutes on foot.

Somewhat isolated area, but I had no problems. There are a few houses not too far away. Keep in mind that there is nothing around: no bins, lighting, or water fountains. Perfect as a starting point for anyone wanting to follow the cycle and pedestrian path along the Nera Gorges to Narni. If you want to see the Mole di Narni, I recommend moving closer to Stifone.

Easy spot to stay for the night, pretty quiet and safe.

Parking in nature on a dirt surface. Suitable for high-roof campers too. We spent a peaceful night. In the morning, we walked to the Nera river park. Recommended.

We stopped only for lunch. Small clearing in a green area, quiet; the nearby road is not too noisy and there are some houses nearby. Probably a good place for the night too.

Quiet parking area for one or two nights. Free, with no services. At night, some cars pass on the nearby road and occasionally a train, but it is all very bearable. It is not lit, but it is an ideal starting point for the cycle and pedestrian path through the Nera Gorges. The train station is also easily reached with a short walk.

Very good parking area; we stayed for two nights. If you are a light sleeper, I do not recommend it: there is some traffic and the train. Otherwise, great.
