A large daytime parking area behind the Joker supermarket, very close to the fjord and town centre. A petrol station is nearby, and parking is usually plentiful during the day. Overnight camping is not permitted here, so use the area for daytime parking only.

I cannot see a place behind the Joker where overnight stays in a motorhome would be allowed. On the contrary: “Camping forbidden/No Camping” for loading, or “no parking for coaches” toward the neighboring property! The very official customer parking area in front of the Joker has fewer prohibition signs! I do not feel welcome here!

Plenty of spaces during the day and really in the heart of the town center.
The parking lot can be used during the day. At 9:45 p.m., a local resident—an elderly man in an electric wheelchair—sent us away, saying that camping is not allowed here. There were only three campers on the fairly large parking lot behind the Joker. We all had to leave.
