Been here?
Free municipal parking close to Desenzano del Garda town centre, with flat asphalt and paved spaces. Recent information indicates a 2.30 m height limit and a 2-hour limit with a parking disc. Access is narrow and manoeuvring or turning around can be difficult, especially with a large camper. It has no services and may be busy during the afternoon and evening, but nights have been reported as quiet.

Parking visited in December 2025. Maximum height 2.30 m. If you need to maneuver to turn back, it may be difficult.
Access via a fairly narrow but passable street, height limited to 2.30 m, free for a limited duration of two hours with a parking disc. It is clean, paved, with cobbled spaces.
We arrived and it was closed. You cannot park; I think it is because construction is underway.
Great location for visiting the town, only 5 minutes walk if that. We had a peaceful night’s sleep so it’s great from that perspective. The corner is quite tight and the reports of potholes are true. It’s a car park so not beautiful but it does the job and is free.
Very difficult to park here with a large camper. (Maybe it would be easier to use the exit rather than the entrance ;)).
Parking with a lot of activity in the afternoon and evening from people coming to shop or eat, but very quiet overnight (Thursday).
Excellent mixed parking area for cars, work vans, and campers, five minutes from the center. No services, flat unpaved ground, a few deep potholes, very well lit, quiet at night. One small drawback: an almost right-angle bend at the entrance, so be careful. Completely free.
Free and flat. Entry is a little difficult, so be careful (90-degree turn, with a high wall and protruding sign), but it is still manageable even for large campers. We entered with a 7-meter vehicle and rear-mounted bike rack. Many very deep potholes, so be extremely careful, especially with low-clearance vehicles. An excellent free option for spending the night and visiting the center.
We couldn't enter through the entrance because of a badly parked vehicle. We entered through the exit in the wrong direction—Italian style!
