Very nice place to spend some time and discover fossils! There is a playground, barbecues, and tables. Several hiking trails start here. The parking area is slightly sloped.
There is no restaurant nearby, contrary to what is mentioned. There is a small beach bar that opens during the summer months, a pelota court, and two swimming pools (€2 per adult/€1 per child). The parking spaces are sloped. The La Hoya picnic area is a beautiful, peaceful place to stay. Down in the village there are bars, a bakery—the bread and hornazo, available by order, are delicious—a pharmacy, a small supermarket, and a butcher.
Very pleasant place to spend the day, with several drinking-water points and hiking trails starting there.
Free rest area with parking outside. The spaces are somewhat sloped. The picnic area has drinking water, but no electricity hookup. Good views.
