Been here?
A secluded lay-by set back from the road and surrounded by woods, but recent conditions were described as muddy and unattractive. The road can be somewhat busy until 10pm, then becomes quiet overnight. There is room for maybe another van, but household rubbish has been dumped there.

Not a good place to stay .Muddy and unattractive. Only use if desperate
Awesome little spot tucked away, room for maybe another van, but no one around when we stayed. Definitely a dumping point for some people - not campers though, proper household rubbish, broken chairs, pallets etc.. Road somewhat busy till 10pm then quietened down to a whisper all night. Some dog walkers in the morning, but parked down near entry. No facilities. Phone service great.
Had a slow puncture travelling from Wales and by 10.30pm needed a quick stopover. Not bad, quiet, surrounded by trees and alone for the night. Odd car passed until 1am but didn't disturb our sleep. Note** As you reverse back/drive into the spot, watch the thick branch that's level with your back/front window. we have a reversing camera but it didn't pick it up immediately.
Great little spot for the night, few cars passing but after 10pm it was fine. Little picnic bench nearby for the morning/evening. Great Torrington toilets were 5 mins away, if you have a disabled access key you can use these after closing time.
