Unnamed Road, 88420, Kremenac, Bosnia and Herzegovina
Been here?
4x4 access only
Getting here needs an off-road vehicle. Check your ground clearance before setting off.
This former lakeside off-road spot has reportedly been largely removed by excavators and now has very little space, with many local visitors. Previously, reaching it required a 4x4 with good ground clearance over a rough, steep track. The water level could rise during the night, sometimes requiring vehicles to drive through water to leave.

Almost no space left after the excavators visited. Very busy with locals now.
Wonderful and peaceful place, we've been there during the workdays. We were totally alone out there. Better not to park just above the waterline because water level rises during the night. To get there 4x4 is obligatory, experienced and calm driver will also help with getting there.
Uneven road and a tight final hairpin bend. We descended in a Mitsubishi L200 with little steering angle; at the final bend we needed three manoeuvres, with very little grip. To return, take the first ramp in reverse up to the hairpin, then drive straight back up; you can get stuck because there is sand. Beautiful place, but unsettling at night: isolated, with a man walking alone at night. We left.
Cool spot. Really only suitable for 4x4s with ground clearance. The riverbed has many loose stones. We were not alone. Nice locals pointed out that we should stay on the stones above and not by the water. The river level rises during the night. It is possible that you may have to drive back through the water in the morning.
Only suitable for 4x4 vehicles up to Pajero or Mercedes G size. The last bend cannot be negotiated with an Iveco Bimobil or similar. With a 7-meter 4x4 Sprinter, I could not make the bend at the bottom and had to reverse back up the road.
Beautiful spot, U can park at the top of the path for vans and Motorhomes. Recommended if wanting a swim or BBQ
Superb place, we stayed for 2 days. Weekdays are preferable because it is very busy at weekends. Stay on the rocky part because the water does indeed rise. Very friendly locals. Vehicle access requires good ground clearance and 4x4.
Excellent camping spot. Bad road down, 4x4 essential. No crowds. Space for 5–6 vehicles.
Beautiful spot, suitable only for a raised camper van at most. Warning: 40 cm of water appeared within one hour—we fled!
What a place to stay! Short but pretty rough road to reach the place. Definitely 4x4 or high clearance required. Planty of flat space. Few trucks passing by on the road above to nearest village. Visiting in october so water level was not high.
