6 E6, 7397, Rennebu
Been here?
A small, almost level gravel place beside a rushing waterfall and the E6, suitable for about 2 motorhomes and a single night. The waterfall can mask the road noise, although traffic remains audible and the area can be cold at night. A fire pit is available, and access from the north requires a long detour because the place is reached from the southbound side.

Simple gravel lot. Road noise is limited. Because it is higher up and located in the forest, it was very cold at night. Fine for one night.
Good for a night when everything is closed only way in is from south bound (new highway) 2 campers ok .for campers who don, t mind the sounds from the road or the sympatic waterfall
Beautiful spot by the water. The E6 runs right next to the site, but it doesn’t bother us. Little traffic. There is also a fire pit.
The E6 was somewhat loud, otherwise it was a beautiful spot right by the waterfall.
Very beautiful spot. The sound of the water is calming, and eventually the E6 can no longer be heard.
Nice little spot slightly set back from the main road. The sound of the river masks the road noise. Space for two buses. Almost flat.
Next to the E6, with a waterfall. Quiet for a while or overnight.
Be careful when approaching! Coming from the north, you cannot exit from this direction. You have to make a huge 17-minute detour. Getting back on the road is no problem: join the northbound carriageway in the “wrong” direction, turn left shortly afterward where permitted, and turn around. The exit to the spot is difficult to see, especially in the dark.
The first area was occupied; it matches the description perfectly. The following ones were also occupied, but by continuing along the forest track we found some spaces and managed to fit everyone in. Very peaceful surroundings in the middle of the woods.
We spent a quiet night here. The E6 is within sight and earshot, but it did not bother us. In the evening, the traffic eventually stops completely.
