This roadside parking area can provide a quiet night, although recent visitors found the road too close and noisy. The lay-by becomes louder early in the morning when walkers and dog owners arrive. The original spot offers access to walking routes along the water, but the lake is no longer accessible.

Too close to the main road, too noisy, not natural enough... I will give it a miss and look elsewhere!
We stood in the lay-by and had a quiet night. It gets louder early in the morning because it is a starting point for hikers and dog owners.
The parking area is really right alongside the busy road; it was too noisy for us.
A quiet place at night, unfortunately the lake is no longer accessible. It is surrounded by hedges, and at the upper parking area there is a gate with a “Private property” sign. From 6 a.m., all the dog owners arrived and it became quite noisy.
A small car park not far from the road but very quiet, with no noise at night. It is not very busy, so it is ideal for a peaceful night’s rest.
If possible, park only in the front car park! The rear one is private, and the fishing club regularly holds private events there that require the parking area.
Only three parking spaces... we had to turn around. Manoeuvring with a 6-metre vehicle was complicated.
Nice parking spot for one night. We had it all to ourselves. In the morning, some people were walking and cycling there; later, several others arrived to park. Overall very quiet, with the train audible occasionally. I recommend it if you do not need sanitary facilities.
Actually a beautifully situated gravel parking area. We parked before the prohibition sign. The road has little traffic at night. The trains are barely audible too. We had a quiet night. The river is 100 metres away. Great for dogs and children. No bins, so take your things with you.
We parked before the prohibition sign. Some passing traffic—walkers and cars—but a very quiet night. Given the limited options in the area, this spot was a godsend for us that evening. Visible from the road during the day. No bins; take your rubbish with you, especially tissues!!
Nice place, with the possibility of swimming in the small stream and a bin for rubbish. However, a railway line passes directly overhead; you will hear trains regularly until 9 p.m. and from 6:30 a.m. in the morning.
