This is a picnic area on a forest track leading toward the lake of the Grand Ballon. There are no services, but picnic tables are available, with both sunny and shaded areas. It suits 2 or 3 vans or small 4x4s parked in line. The access track is quickly damaged by holes and stones, and a sign warns of 1500€ fines for leaving waste.

I do not recommend this spot at all for anyone wanting to sleep in their vehicle... The track is impassable: a forest road that quickly turns into a path full of potholes and stones. I do not understand how this spot can be listed.
Very nice place for 2 or 3 vans or small 4x4s, parked in single file. Picnic table. The site is both sunny and shaded. Leave no rubbish; there is a sign at the entrance to the track warning of €1,500 fines.
