Riverside parking, length limit

Small car park, not really suitable for larger motorhomes, especially when busy. I'd guess the facilities belong to the cafe but they are probably grateful for the extra business. Lovely cafe with friendly staff and lovely place.

Very nice quiet little spot, had a couple of cars drive by during the night that werent too loud, and a few fishermen and dog walkers arrive in the morning. Clean portaloo and bins provided.

I spent a very peaceful night here as the only camper. However, the vehicle should not be longer than 6.4 m, as it can get tight during the day when day visitors park here.

Small, relatively level parking area with a portable toilet. A water point is available for filling bottles, but nothing larger. A coffee stand run by a very friendly woman is right next to it. A short hiking loop also passes 100 m away. Quiet night with a little traffic.

A beautiful little spot, very pleasant, with a walk along the water. The café owner is very welcoming and cheerful. We slept very well, thank you!

We spent one night here, fairly peacefully, with little traffic on the road and one or two cars stopping there in the evening. The site is nothing special, with chemical toilets available. A nice bonus is the lady who runs the parking-area café: she is very kind, her coffee is excellent, and she kindly refilled our van’s water.

Car park next to saunas & a cafe. People were coming & going until the saunas closed at 9pm. After that, it was quiet except for cars stopping to use the portable toilet. However, we were awoken shortly after 2am by an intoxicated man knocking on the canpervan and shouting obscenities, so we decided to leave. Would like to return to use the riverside saunas, but would not stay overnight.

Excellent overnighter. Fantastic Café with excellent coffee & treats. Pizza also available . Café owner kindly offered to take our rubbish.Valhalla Saunas are on site, bookable via qr code. Services include a water font( not suitable for refillng watertanks)a portaloo and a bin provided by Waterways Ireland. Not suitable for Vans over 5.9m in length No wastewater or blackwater disposal

Open car park right beside the river, small amount of traffic through the night but slept well Council maintained portaloo and small amount of bins a lovely friendly cafe with plans to add more facilities in future

Nice place, but noisy early in the morning. The muffins from the lady at the café next door are excellent.

Close to the M9 and allowing us to stop in a quiet place for a peaceful night. Waking up beside the river was very pleasant. Chemical toilet on site, and a small picnic shelter, but it was closed for October at the time we were there, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. Accessible to motorhomes of about 8 m; approximately 10 spaces.

Peaceful night in a lovely place. There was even a chemical toilet and a tap available. The person at the snack bar is charming.

Great place for overnight stay, very quiet, lovely walks and a great coffee dock beside car park.

Lovely place beside a charming river. As a courtesy, ask the person at the snack bar for permission to spend the night in the car park. She is really nice. She offers food, and it is very good.

Beautiful part of the country, plenty of parking places but gets very busy at the weekends. The added bonus though is the coffee dock "Barrow Brew" . There are no facilities in the carpark but Barrow Brew owners hope to have electric pickup installed later this year for people stopping over.
