A peaceful, rustic campsite on a meadow in wooded surroundings beside the Ludwig-Main-Danube Canal. The pitches and facilities are dated, but the sanitary facilities are clean and the owner is friendly; the surrounding area is somewhat unpolished. Sengenthal’s Norma, petrol station, bakery, and butcher are nearby, while Neumarkt and Wolfstein Castle are accessible by bicycle.

This is a gem campsite, yes it’s dated, and a little unpolished. but has what you require. For the price it’s good value, owner very friendly and helpful. Camp a meadow in wooded land, several permanent caravans on site. We loved the peace. And listening to the birds in the evening. We would recommend this site. You get more than you paid for.
They said they always had spaces, and they were right. Afterwards we knew why: a large meadow, with facilities very much showing their age. The electrical hookup box was already covered in lichen. The power went out after one hour, as expected. The indoor sanitary facilities were clean, but the surroundings were very neglected. There is only one fresh-water connection, quite far from the meadow. For us, this was a one-time visit.
A wonderful nature campsite. Very quiet and very pleasant. We actually came back because two nightingales were singing here.
