7 Calle Bancal de la Cruz, 18400, Órgiva
Been here?
A daytime parking area at the edge of Órgiva, close to the town’s shops and market. The Thursday market takes place here, making access difficult for large motorhomes on Thursday morning because surrounding streets become crowded. There are no services, the area is under video surveillance, and signs prohibit camping or campervans, although parking is not specifically prohibited. Dogs and occasional nighttime music can cause noise.

Good location on the outskirts of town. Access is only via a few roads suitable for a wide camper. Basically also good for an overnight stay. “Camping” is prohibited by sign, but “parking” is not. Local residents walk many dogs here. When teenagers were still playing music at 1 a.m. on Sunday night, I left. The market is only held here exceptionally on Thursdays.
Good for a midday stop; there is plenty of space and the possibility of sorting your waste properly. Beautiful mountain views. It does not seem possible to spend the night there, which is a shame; the site is under video surveillance. Good for visiting the town. Good 4G reception.
It is not near the Thursday market; this is where the Thursday market takes place. Do not drive here on a Thursday morning with a large motorhome: all the streets are parked on both sides, so you cannot pass an oncoming vehicle.
No-motorhome sign.
Perfect spot!
Accessible place, more or less level, and in the town itself. The centre car park is occupied by a trade fair and cannot be used. Quiet area. No facilities of any kind.
A pleasant and very beautiful place.
