Municipal campsite among pine trees with freely chosen, relatively level pitches and warm showers. Recent reports mention partly broken showers, no light in the men’s toilet, dirty sanitary facilities and no grey-water or chemical-toilet disposal. Water and electricity are available at pitches, but noise and activity around the facilities can affect the sense of security after reception closes.

Some showers are broken. No light in the men’s toilet. Sanitary facilities dirty. We arrived at 2 p.m.; people had been cleaning fish and left the entrails behind. They were still there and stinking the next day. No disposal for grey water or chemical toilets. The site is absolutely inexpensive, but for what it offers, it is still too expensive. We paid about €38 for 2 adults and 3 children.
Sheltered among the pine trees. Free choice of pitch. Adequate sanitary facilities. Hot shower. Friendly welcome. Perfect for one night.
Peaceful! You can set up wherever you want. Very inexpensive. Perfect for one night while passing through! Clean facilities and hot water!
Very friendly welcome, and only four of the 80 places were occupied. Free choice of pitch. Old-fashioned sanitary facilities, not very clean. Water and electricity at the pitch. After reception closes at 7 p.m., all kinds of people come to use the sanitary facilities. Did not feel safe. €21 for camper, 2 people, and electricity. Quiet, with crickets as our neighbours.
Quiet place among the pine trees. Pitches are spacious; just look carefully so you can get the camper or car level. Older sanitary facilities but lovely hot water, with enough space for both washing dishes and doing laundry. Early September price for 2 people and a car-van: €15.62, including water.
Typical Landes municipal campsite: intense heat, sand, ferns and heather, cicadas, and maritime pines! Water, electricity, and black-water cassette emptying for €21.30 for one couple with a motorhome. Set up wherever you like; pitches are relatively level. No grey-water emptying! Thanks to the municipality of Pissos!
Very pleasant campsite with the sound of cicadas, no assigned pitches, and clean facilities. €30 per night for a motorhome with 6 people—2 children and 4 adults. A little noisy because of a group of Spanish campers, but they were respectful.
Cheap, clean, flat little municipal campsite, with no assigned pitches, but noisy because of young Spaniards and their dogs.
Quiet campsite. Free-choice pitches. Acceptable toilets. We arrived around 5 p.m. to the sound of cicadas. The campsite is very peaceful. €15 per night for 2 people with a van without electricity.
Large pitches, very few people on July 13, very pleasant!
Very beautiful campsite, very clean, good bathrooms, water and electricity at the pitches, large pitches in a forest of tall pines. There was nobody at reception, so we went to pay at the town hall 300 metres away. Delighted—we will return. Thank you.
Wonderful campsite, very clean. We want to thank them because we lost all our documentation, including bank card and motorhome papers. They found everything and kept it at the town hall until we arrived to collect it. Thank you.
Attention: no grey water drainage available! I used a bucket to discharge grey waters in the bathrooms. For the rest, I like French Campings municipal. They are usually very frugal with all the needed and no frills. This is in the middle of a peaceful pine tree forest. 18,64 € per night, campervan and 2 people
Arrived around 4:30 p.m. There was no one at reception, so we chose a place and set up, then went to reception at 5 p.m. to pay. Very attractive price: €14.72 for one night for one person. I recommend it, and the hostess is very friendly.
Back-to-basics campsite where you can set up wherever you want (the pitches are not really marked out). The facilities are old but adequate and cleaned regularly, with hot water in the showers. Very friendly welcome, and a few pine trees provide some shade. The only downside is that the Spanish seasonal workers do whatever they want… €19 per night for a van, 2 adults, 1 child, and electricity!
Exceptionally friendly welcome! What a lot of space! Great price for an overnight stop along the road, yet still in the middle of nature!
