Free parking beside Guarda castle, with level and inclined areas, close to the historic centre. Overnight stays are generally quiet, and the centre is about 10 minutes away on foot. Access can involve a very steep, paved road, although a 7.5m motorhome reached it via the hospital route. There are bins and a bench, but it can be cold and windy.

How wonderful you can feel after a warm shower! At this petrol station you get access not just to a shower cubicle, but to a private suite with a room containing two sinks, a mirror, and an outlet for a hairdryer, plus two additional rooms—one with a toilet and one with a shower. Everything is clean and relatively new. Plenty of storage space and hooks. I am delighted!Translating
The satnav directed us along a very steep, paved road, and it was also raining—our motorhome could not manage it. We had to roll back and then drove to the campsite. If there is a better route in, this parking area would certainly be great for visiting the city.Translating
