Kochmühle 1, 76337, Waldbronn-Etzenrod
Been here?
A small, simple campsite on the forest edge, with newer motorhome pitches in front and a restaurant on site. The restaurant is open Wednesday to Sunday, while there is no breakfast or bread service and WiFi is very limited. Recent visitors report a new water and waste facility, partly operational electricity, clean sanitary facilities and generally quiet surroundings. Some pitches are uneven or muddy in rain, and movement around permanent pitches is restricted.

34 new motorhome pitches have been set up in front of the campsite. Some of the electrical hookups are already operational. There is a brand-new service and waste-disposal facility on site. It is wonderfully quiet there. The restaurant is definitely worth a visit. We stayed only one night while passing through, but will certainly return for a longer stay.
Many newly created motorhome pitches are available. I tried one right away. Well laid out. With some maneuvering, it is possible to stand level without leveling blocks. Very nice operator. Attached restaurant with varied cuisine. The price of €17 for 1 person, 1 dog, 1 van and everything included is absolutely fine. Nice paths for walking the dog. We will definitely come again.
Very friendly and nice owners. Overall, a beautiful RV site with a large meadow and good sanitary facilities! Good restaurant with friendly service. All in all, we would gladly come back!
Beautifully located, attractive site; in the rain, the meadow quickly becomes muddy. Sanitary facilities are clean. We were allowed to stay one night with our caravan attached. You are only allowed to move around the grounds to a limited extent because permanent campers feel disturbed by walkers in their area (original quote). We have never experienced that before. At €38 for two people at the end of October, it was as expensive as anywhere on our entire long trip.
Quiet place in the countryside. We stayed one night while passing through. The “An der Kochmühle” restaurant is magnificent and we will definitely return!
We ended up here for two nights while passing through. The price is quite steep: €78 for two people. Showers and toilets are okay. The site is more of a meadow than a proper campsite. Mostly long-term pitches. Next time we would rather use the nearby motorhome site.
Quiet location. Friendly welcome. Clean sanitary facilities. Excellent restaurant. Camper, what more could you want? Dog-friendly area.
The grounds are not suitable for tents, far too uneven. We only looked around here. No shady spots and many permanent pitches.
Very unfriendly welcome. I am traveling by car. I was first asked very rudely where they were supposed to put me with that. I was allowed to park on the meadow. The toilets smell and the showers are not clean. I was denied access to the charging box.
Unfriendly welcome with our 7.3-ton expedition motorhome. The operator turned us away saying, “Not with that thing.” When I arrived, he walked into reception 20 seconds ahead of me and immediately closed the door in front of me, although he had seen me. I had to ring the bell—a very unfriendly gesture. Not recommended.
Good campsite, clean. Toilets and showers are in separate locations. Reasonable price: €50 for five people, one dog and electricity. Dogs must be taken outside the campsite to relieve themselves.
We stayed only one night and were happy here. Modern, clean bathrooms.
Okay for a short stay. Unfortunately, there is no possibility of disposing of gray water.
Initially a friendly welcome, but as soon as you are on the site there are “instructions” and you do not feel welcome. Dogs are allowed, but are not welcome either. We had booked two nights but stayed only one... The focus here is on the restaurant and the long-term campers.
