Trailhead parking, quiet nights

Good spot for one night; the ground is fairly level and reasonably quiet despite the road beside it! At the foot of the trailhead for the Hérisson waterfalls.

Perfect for the very popular Hérisson waterfalls walk. Little shade and not particularly beautiful, but functional, with space even in peak season. A good backup spot for the night or for doing the walk during the day.

Direct access to the waterfalls. No prohibition on sleeping there. The road is right next to it but has very little traffic at night. A small restaurant is located down below, before or after starting the waterfall hike.

Easy access for a 6-meter van. We stayed during the day to visit the Hérisson waterfalls.

The parking area is easy to reach; our camper is 6.6 m long. We arrived at 9:20 a.m. and were the only ones there. Later, more cars arrived. The waterfalls are easy to reach. You can get something to eat and drink there. The walk from here is downhill, though.

Very good for the waterfalls; allow 3.5 hours round trip to reach the waterfall house at the bottom. You should just know that from this parking area the hike is downhill, so you will have to climb all the way back up!

We had a very good night despite the rain. Access to the hiking trail is really right next door. We arrived around 11 p.m.; it was quiet and there was plenty of space.

We had an excellent night after visiting the waterfalls. We were alone in the parking area. I added the waterfall tour map to make it easier to understand the locations of the different car parks, the number of waterfalls, and the duration and difficulty.

I spent one night in a converted Kangoo. The parking area is quite nice beside the road, with little traffic at night. It is at the top of the Hérisson waterfalls. I recommend it.

Not the most friendly place to stay. Good for one night and for a walk to the waterfalls.

Very good for spending the night. No traffic at night, just a few cars in the morning. Stable gravel, almost flat. For hiking, Saut Girard waterfall is very close, with the trail to the other waterfalls starting here. The last one is the most beautiful if you are lucky enough to find abundant water.

Good for visiting the waterfalls, but I would not sleep there because of the road.
