Beware: signs at the town entrance say that spending the night in a motorhome is prohibited throughout the town.
Road and parking area renovated. Beware of the weekly market on Sunday. Parking close to amenities. Please, fellow motorhome users: 1. Stop parking right next to each other when the lot is empty (2 motorhomes and 1 van in a 200-space lot). 2. Stop taking four spaces instead of two. Think of others—you are not alone, and we are trying to keep a low profile so that parking is not banned everywhere. If you are worried, there is a motorhome parking area.
It is behind the Valvi, currently closed until May. Access is via dirt ground to the rear of the supermarket. A little dirty but quiet.
Stopped here for coffee, parked for around 45 minutes. Place seems quite dangerous I wouldn’t leave my belongings in van or van for too long. Big parking lot, 10 minutes walk to beach with bars cafes and town market. Parking is free. Downside this is where the local youths come to play with there motorbikes so expect annoying loud noise.
From the road, you can’t see the parking area behind the supermarket. Enter the supermarket parking lot from the road; at the far end on the left is the path leading to the supermarket parking area. If you don’t enter, you can’t see it. Large open area, quiet and peaceful, without services, close to the beach, town center, bars and restaurants. Next to the church there is a fountain and rubbish bins.
