Central, flat parking in Abrantes with a view towards the south, although access is narrow, cobbled and winding. Recent reports describe small spaces, low tree branches and a maximum suitable vehicle length of 5m, while another report managed 7 metres 50. The parking can be busy, but overnight stays have also been reported as quiet. The museum is 200 m away.

Probably very nice if you have a mini-camper! The road up is narrow, cobbled and windy. We arrived at 11.30 am and it was very busy. Spaces are small and the tree branches hang low. Definitely not suitable for anything over 5m. Otherwise brave it at your peril! View looked ok! Obviously we could not stay. We moved on. With difficulty!
We arrived around 8 p.m. and there was plenty of space to park. It is completely level as well. We spent a very peaceful night and saw the sunrise the next morning. Recommended.
Quiet night, very beautiful view, easy access for 7.5 metres.
