Forest parking, quiet overnight

A level gravel parking area just off the A98 at the entrance to a pine forest. It is a decent-sized, quiet spot with no amenities, although people may come and go with dogs in the evening. Trees reduce the road noise, and overnight stays have been comfortable.

Excellent. As described.
Perfect stop. Just off the road, at the entrance to the Forrest. A decent sized space. We stopped around 8pm and there was one person out with their dog, they soon left and was just us all night. Close to the road but the few trees before the carpark really deaden the sound and we didn’t notice all night. Dog walkers from around 6am however not a bother for us. Would recommend and stay again!
Quiet spot for one night. Unfortunately, people leave their rubbish there too. Some walkers and dog owners pass by.
