Flat parking area beside a picnic park, hiking route and dog-friendly green space near the edge of town. It offers views, waste bins and access to the old town in about 20 minutes on foot, but there is no water and no lighting. The area can be dirty, with church bells and occasional traffic at night. Police have recently advised visitors to park elsewhere because the area is considered unsafe.

Actually, a good parking area, but the police kindly pointed out that we would be better off leaving our vehicle somewhere else because the area is considered unsafe and drugs are sold. We gratefully accepted the advice. Thanks to the attentive and friendly police.Translating

No lighting, super quiet apart from the church bells. Easy walking distance to the old town.
Visited on February 23. Good flat areas with bins, but no water as vandalised. 20 mins walk into old town and tourist attractions and shops. Park excellent for walks with dogs as well as views of the area.Police called by so provided security feeling.
