Been here?
This street-side parking area is 50m from the Isar, with mobile toilets at the rose garden and convenient access for walks, swimming and the city centre. Parking is free at weekends and from 18-9; otherwise, parking is free for 4 hours with a meter. Recent reports describe heavy street noise, crowding, nearby train noise and increasing controls. Overnight parking has previously resulted in police eviction.

Roadside parking, too noisy in a very busy area. The few remaining free spaces are near the railway tracks, where you can hear the train.
Road noise, yes, okay... but for a free parking area, perfect.
Unfortunately, it is often very noisy! And now overcrowded! The residents are annoyed and there are more and more checks. It is probably only a matter of time before nobody is allowed to park here anymore.
I parked all day on Saturday without paying because it is free at weekends, and the city center can be reached on foot in 20 minutes.
I parked here on Saturday, easily finding a space, and we easily reached the city center and the science museum by bicycle. Quiet for sleeping one night. I did not pay on Saturday or Sunday.
Perfect for one night, very quiet, free parking at weekends and from 6 p.m., about a 10-minute walk from the metro or bus that takes you to the city center.
Perfect for exploring Munich. If you park from 2 p.m. and set the parking disc, you have unlimited time. The Isar is less than a 10-minute walk away. There are probably better places to park overnight, as many cars pass along the street; I did not stay here overnight myself.
Good for one night, relatively central.
Great for four hours of free parking. A 25-minute walk from Munich city center.
•Great location •beautiful park •swimming pool •4 hours free
The city center can be reached in 20 minutes. We spent a quiet and relaxing night there.
We were driven away by the police at 11:00 p.m. We were inside our vehicle, but that did not help us. The reason was somewhat unclear; in any case, they noted our license plate and said we could receive a fine for an administrative offense (camping) next time. Beware of this place, not recommended.
Excellent parking for the day near a swimming pool, 30 minutes on foot from the historic city center, officially limited to 4 hours (free) with a blue parking disc.
