Unnamed Road, 12290, Le Vibal
Been here?
A very quiet lakeside wild spot has a splendid view and a mini beach reached by a 40 m path. The ground is slightly sloping, and the stony beach is below; swimming is unsuitable for children because the water becomes deep abruptly. It is best suited to a van or L2 max, while larger vehicles should avoid it. Music from the nearby camping has recently continued until 23h30.

Given the number of campsites available, everything is done to prevent people from staying around the lake, so many thanks for finding this spot. Good for one night because it is very quiet and the birdsong is delightful. We did not test the beach; I would rather find another, more permissive lake.Translating
Very nice and very clean at this time of year. No traffic; the spot is idyllic, with birds and a view—sensory perfection. Beware: the beach below is rocky. Music from the campsite continued until 11:30 p.m., all day in fact, and then stopped completely. It is slightly sloped, so I did not sleep very well, and there were mosquitoes at sunset, which is normal near a lake.Translating
Nice spot with a beautiful view of the lake. Wear water shoes; go down the small path and you will be there in two minutes.Translating
Beautiful place for a van or L2-size panel van at most; large vehicles should avoid it! Quiet, but swimming should be avoided for children because the depth drops suddenly, as in many lakes.Translating
Superb view and swimming is possible. But be careful not to leave equipment outside: a large water container and a swimsuit were stolen from us, even though the area seemed very peaceful.Translating
Sloping and beside the road, but the road is so little used that you forget it is there. We slept with the van open to the lake view, without any concern or disturbance. However, shame on the motorhome users who apparently empty their toilets here before leaving; it is disgusting, and it is no wonder people then distrust our vehicles.Translating
Spot full of poo and paper. Well done!Translating
Full until 16 August! Great spot, but only for one van; otherwise the second one will not have access to the beach and will only be able to sleep there. The water access is a tiny beach suitable for only one family or couple, no more. However, just further down the road there is a larger beach beside the boat launch, with plenty of parking.Translating
Very nice place. The ground is not flat, but we managed to position the van well enough to sleep. I advise large motorhomes against it because turning around is difficult. Otherwise, very quiet, with very little traffic on the road, and we did not hear the campsite.Translating
Our first van experience and first night at this spot. Great place, slightly sloped but no need for levelling blocks. Superb view of the lake. You can hear music from the campsite in the distance, but it is not really disturbing.Translating
Superb view, but slightly sloped. Not much traffic, even in July. We were not disturbed by noise from the campsite.Translating
