Been here?
Tebay Caravan Park is a practical, quiet motorway stopover with electric pitches and good facilities. It costs £27 per night and includes toilets, showers, water, bins and waste-water disposal. The site is clean but somewhat utilitarian, with an older toilet block and a motorway hum nearby. The main service station and farm shop are about a five-minute walk away.

Stayed for one night whilst on the area to do some walking. I would only stay here as a stopover rather than a destination, it’s perfectly fine for one night. Clean but old school toilet block. It’s quiet given how close the motorway is. Five minute walk to the main service station for decent food. Lots of late night arrivals. £28 including £3 voucher for food at the service station.
Basic site with electricity and facilities; the farm shop is worth a visit.
£27 a night and got a £10 voucher when I registered my van to use for breakfast (meant a cooked breakfast and coffee was £4). Great spot, very quiet, hook up, great facilities, really easy to access. Toilets/showers/bins/waste water disposal. 5G. A great stop over right off the motorway.
Tebay services is well worth a stop anyway. First time caravan site, it was clean, surprisingly quiet although we did have the “hum” of the motorway. Shower was hot. We had dinner in the services and it was a generous portion of proper food. It’s a fantastic stop if you’re travelling North/ South. When you book, given non motorway instructions to get to the Northbound if travelling Southbound.
Gravel parking in woodland, so can be a bit muddy. Black vaste is behind the toilet block, and not everyone seems to find it and uses the grey discharge area instead, where it also says “Drinking water” but only one dirty pipe there. Don’t use that for drinking water. Instead use the taps near your spot. Facilities are a bit dated, but adequate. But for a motorway stop it is great
Great for overnight stop. You can book upon arrival by scanning and paying online then you just go and choose a numbered pitch which are quite big. Price includes EHU and water etc. Showers with reasonable hot water and toilets. Can walk to the main services to use your £3 voucher. Pitch costs £27 for two in a van.
Not beautiful, but sufficient for one night. The sanitary facilities were at least reasonably tidy, but we don't need to stay there twice.
not pretty, but suffices very well for a stop on the motorway. Service station is well renowned for high quality (and prices). Caravan park is a bit more utilitarian. Don't be surprised if you arrive 'early' and are the only ones here. People arrive late after a long transit.
Excellent stop off on long journey home. Very clean spacious toilet blocks and plenty of toilets and showers and hand soap. Chemical toilet disposal and waste water, lots of taps near the pitches for water fill. Not cheap, but not outrageous considering how good the facilities are.
Perfect for spending the night. We stopped to change the water; a donation is requested.
Perfect little site, came here a year ago and they have upgraded the toilet block since our last stop off, loads of EHU, taps at each pitch. Perfect for stopping over after us doing the NC500
This is not a campsite. It's an aire, a very nice one, but an aire nonetheless. For £27 I'd like a pitch with its own little grass area to chill out on. Toilet/showers are fine with chemical toilet disposal point at the back of the toilet block. Plenty taps around the site to fill up water and grey waste is down a drain at the waste point. Use the big steel key to lift the manhole.
Great stop clean toilets and showers although a bit dated. Great for farm shop. £27 per night but you get a £3 voucher to use in the shop or cafe. Plus all services in each pitch.
Very convenient stop on M6. Just scan the QR code on arrival and choose a pitch, or book beforehand. All services very easy and clean, peaceful spot you wouldn’t know your were next M6. Obviously farm shop is a bonus!
Very reasonable price of £26 plus a £3 café voucher, compared with £22 to park in the car park. Electric hookup, quiet woodland glade with toilets and showers.
I arrived here at 2330 hours without a booking. There is a QR code to pay online, a fee of £26 for the night. Toilets, showers and plenty of space to pitch up.
Stopped here while touring Cumbria. Great facilities, lovely and quiet. We would come back if passing again, and it was only £26 including electric hookup and a hardstanding pitch.
