A shaded, flat parking area in the Torrile and Trecasali Nature Reserve, surrounded by nature and suitable for a quiet overnight stop. Several spaces are available beneath trees, with hides and shaded walks for viewing birds. The nearby road is moderately busy at night, and mosquitoes can be numerous because of the surrounding water.

Arrived at night. The road has moderate traffic. It is okay for an overnight stop. Several spaces under trees.
Visited the reserve twice—amazing how many birds and other animals we saw in such a small place, with the added comfort of several hides and shady walks. Stayed the night after getting permission by email in advance. Lovely shady car park. Two other campers were there, with plenty of room. A fair number of insects on the reserve. We were let into the reserve early, at 8 a.m., by arrangement.
Basically a pleasant place, but because of the nearby water it is a true mosquito infestation.
