This is a spacious parking area at the Prato Spilla ski resort, used as a quiet base for overnight stays and trekking. Recent stays found a public bathroom open, potable water available, and a place to discharge chemical waste, while the resort structures remain closed. The area has level asphalt and shaded or gravel spaces, with cars arriving in the morning for excursions. In summer, it is a cool place for walks and several-night stays.

Excellent parking area for spending the night peacefully and also as a base for several hikes.
Quiet place with other campers, so you do not sleep alone. Starting point for excursions, frequented but excellent for spending the night.
Excellent place. We spent four very peaceful nights and escaped the heat. Bathroom open, drinking water, and beautiful trails to explore. Highly recommended.
Wonderful place, unfortunately not valued by the municipality. Facilities closed and everything abandoned, but it remains a nice place to stay a few days in the cool and go for walks. Fortunately, they left a bathroom open for emptying the chemical toilet. There is also a water tap near the campers.
Wonderful place, with numerous level asphalt parking spaces or shaded gravel areas. We spent a night under the stars in complete peace. In the morning, hikers' cars arrive, but nothing chaotic. There is a fountain with fresh spring water, with no services apart from glass recycling bins. For those who love nature and walks, it is a perfect stop, also ideal for escaping the heat.
We were two campers, absolute peace, with beautiful trails.
Not particularly easy to reach with a large motorhome, completely deserted. The site has had no operator since 2024. We spent the night alone on the mountain; it was somewhat spooky and very, very cold.
Quiet place and a good starting point for visiting the many lakes nearby. The only drawback is that the station is closed, so there are no services, except in August, when a couple of food and drink vendors stay there.
Note that the water fountains are not reachable by car and not sure if it has drinking water. The fountains' water circuits were also closed off on 4 May 2024 (probably only open in Summer?).
Large, flat asphalt parking area and sloping gravel area, with shaded and sunny zones. Superb panorama, two available fountains and a restaurant. Numerous bins with separate collection. Excellent starting point for countless excursions. The only drawback is that it is very crowded from Friday to Sunday. No barbecues and no wastewater discharge.
