Fine here. Two other motorhomes present. Quiet night. Recommended.
Lovely quiet place to stay, we stayed one night, very safe and quiet. Great views across to the town. Very good
Free parking with impressive views of the city at the foot of Santa Lucia Castle. There are no water or electricity services, but it is suitable for spending the night and visiting the city. If it had water and electricity services, it would be fantastic. Thanks to the town council for making it available.
Very convenient parking area for walking into Elvas, which is well worth a visit. We spent one very peaceful night. We recommend it.
We liked it for sleeping. It is isolated but does not feel unsafe. There are no services. The spaces are large, so we had no problem with our 7 m motorhome. The fortress is beautiful, and from there Lisbon is two hours away.
Spacious parking area, although it filled up with cars on Sunday. We did not sleep there, but I think it would have been a good place. The fortress is not bad and the village is very beautiful. Beware on rainy days: the cobbled slope can be slippery.
Quiet, great view, also suitable for large vehicles.
Nice place to spend the night at the foot of the fort, with a view of the city. It is fairly quiet.
Very nice place to spend the night peacefully with a superb view of the city. We visited the fort and then the city. You must be self-sufficient, as there is no water or waste disposal.
We stayed here for two nights. The police said that spending the night here was not a problem. The first night was fairly quiet and relaxing. On the second night, vehicles with people of varying loudness came and went until 2 a.m. The site suffers from the nearby new McDonald's. People come to eat and make noise, then eat, smoke and watch films in the parking area.
Excellent for overnight stays, beautiful view.
Very quiet, good view. Fort closes at 5pm. Lidl nearby with good produce
We went in August and were alone at night. Good views of Évora and, being up high, there was a breeze.
Very good little spot at the foot of an old military fortress, which opens at 10 a.m. if you would like to visit it (price €3 per adult; student discounts are accepted, so 50% off; free for children under 12). We were the only motorhome present, but there was still a lot of traffic at night: young people with loud music who shone their headlights directly at our vehicle.
Quiet place with a view of the city. Nice for sleeping.
We arrived and it was empty except for a police car. We had to turn around and find another place.
Ideal for visiting Santa Lucía Fort. Quiet and peaceful.
Very beautiful place to spend the night with a lovely view of the old town. Very quiet, with no noise or light pollution.
Peaceful night. A few cars with young couples. In the morning there was a police car next to us, but they did not say anything. The view of Elvas is very good.
Quiet and flat, with views of the city walls. No services.
