Been here?
A quiet end-of-road wild spot beside a lake, with direct access to the shore, a sand beach, hiking paths and fire pits. Recent stays were peaceful, with room for several campers, although the area can become crowded in high season. No toilet is available at the spot, while a toilet and bins are a short walk away.

We walked around the whole peninsula, and there are many places to camp, some much better than others. We had a really peaceful night here, but I imagine the whole area is not so great in high season.
Fantastic place! Beautifully situated by the lake, super quiet and peaceful with only one other camper. Plenty of space. The toilet is a little walk away, but walking in this setting is no hardship.
An absolute dream spot! We were alone and watched the sunset by the lake. You can take wonderful walks around the lake and spend time at the beach/swimming area. Bins and a toilet are also a plus. We collected quite a bit of rubbish there—please leave nothing behind; better yet, pick some up :)
Stayed here for two nights with two vans. Wonderfully quiet and peaceful. We had the lake to ourselves for paddleboarding.
Beautiful, with trails into the forest and down to the lake, where there are makeshift wooden benches and several fire pits. We were completely alone at the end of September, and the parking lot at the beach remained empty too.
Indeed a busy place. It is beautiful, but when there are already several campers, please look for another spot so there is still room for the locals. There are plenty of places in beautiful Sweden!
At around 4 p.m. today, eight large motorhomes were parked bumper to bumper in this turning area! Incredible! Locals could not park their cars. There will probably be a sign here soon. We shouldn’t be surprised that more and more places are being closed with behavior like this!!
Super beautiful place. Six stars if possible, especially when you have it to yourself. In the end there were three of us, which worked wonderfully. The place is quiet and has a beautiful view of the lake and sunset.
Really beautiful place for one night :) The view is fantastic, and we were able to admire a dramatically beautiful sunset. However, a few people were walking around there late in the evening.
A beautiful place! And just 100 meters away from the busier spot with the beach and toilet.
Turning area at the end of a gravel road. Spot with a beautiful lake view. The WC is a little farther away. Friendly anglers.
The turning area is easy to drive into, but the lake is about 1.5 meters lower, so you cannot drive directly to it. Unfortunately, the pitch is closer to a railway track and the road than one would like. There is also a military training area nearby. Another camper stopped by, then a car came, another car during the night, and cyclists the next day. Not a secluded place.
Very well-located pitch next to the paid beach resort. It is especially lively on pleasant summer evenings. The pitch has no infrastructure such as water, electricity, or sanitary facilities—only for self-sufficient campers. In return, there is dreamlike evening sunshine and a wonderful view of Mount Pilatus. It’s great that places like this still exist, so please take care of them and leave them clean.
