Grass parking, loud aircraft

We were at the airport at dawn and chose this place for the remaining half-night. The planes really are loud; otherwise, it is a peaceful place. The forest is just a simple acacia grove, with the usual “close-to-nature” toilet facilities ;)✦Translating

I couldn't reach this place with my truck, the road is very small so not suitable for big rigs

We absolutely cannot recommend this parking area. It is right next to the airport. The planes fly so close to the site that it is very loud. There are also extremely large potholes at the entrance. My car was damaged by them.✦Translating

Nice, quiet place for hiking and more. We stayed here for two days without any problems. There is also a Dixi/ToiToi toilet on site. It is best to approach the parking area from the east. The road from the west is like a field, pothole after pothole, for about 50 metres. You should not drive faster than 5 km/h there.✦Translating

Good parking area to unwind. Relatively quiet, although a dog barks now and then. Good for jogging or walking. A shopping centre with well-known discount stores is 3 km away. I can confirm that there is a toilet and rubbish bins.✦Translating
