Quiet parking, steep access

Discovered by chance while passing through. Charming old village with nearly 600 inhabitants. The access to the parking area is very steep; our motorhome would have scraped because of the motorcycle rack at the rear. We spent the night in the public car park below. Everything was still great—the village is worth a visit.✦Translating

If you love peace and breathtaking views, this spot is for you. The climb to the right of the church is steep but easily manageable in first gear. The esplanade overlooks the mountains; there is no noise apart from birdsong and the distant tinkling of sheep bells. We even received a very friendly welcome from a villager walking his dogs. Thanks to the municipality! The bells do not ring between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m.! The paved access road is very steep and narrow. If you have more than a one-meter rear overhang, I advise against access. I scraped the rear end. Very beautiful place.✦Translating

The parking area is a large esplanade to the right of the church. The climb may put you off, but it is easy enough, and the top is superb. A wonderful discovery—a magnificent characterful village far off the beaten track. Do not expect any services, but the view, the village, and the hike to Bec de Rez are pure joy.✦Translating
