Lakeside parking, road noise

Wonderful, very well-maintained motorhome pitch directly on Lake Scharmützel. Just a few steps to the water, quiet location, and great atmosphere. The neighbouring hotel with restaurant is a nice addition. No electricity or service point, but that was not a problem for us. The price of €10 per day is absolutely fair. We felt very comfortable and would gladly come back!✦Translating

A nice pitch. You can take extensive cycling tours from here. The site is directly on the lake, with a beautiful jetty, and Bad Saarow is not far away. In the low season it was pleasantly quiet and we slept well despite the road. We found €1 for 0.5 kWh a little expensive. €10 via Parkster was okay. Warning: the municipal enforcement office checks regularly, including on Sundays.✦Translating

A simple pitch directly by the water, ideal for travellers passing through. We paid only €7 for one night, perhaps because it was the low season; electricity costs extra. Relatively noisy because of the location by the road, hence one point deducted. Still, it is nice that such uncomplicated places exist—thanks for that!✦Translating

Perfectly located for a little water sports. Not exactly cheap, but anyone who wants and is able to park directly by the water, freely and legally, will find everything needed here, including a rubbish bin and electricity. We visited regularly and were disappointed by what we consider the excessive €15 nightly fee for the lack of services, apart from electricity, which we do not need because we are completely self-sufficient. Electricity is usable for only four pitches anyway. Compared with other pitches, €8–10 would be appropriate.✦Translating

WARNING! The site has been chargeable for a few weeks, which is not very obvious yet. The municipal enforcement office woke us because nobody on the site had realised it. They were actually very friendly. We paid afterwards and everything was fine. Otherwise, a great place next to a hotel and 50 m from access to the lake. Great site. Please pay attention to the rules on the information board. From now on, a maximum of three overnight stays. The municipal enforcement office now photographs licence plates every day and checks them. You may return no earlier than after three weeks. The site will be renovated in autumn and will become chargeable. A canoe rental station is now available on site.✦Translating

Apparently space for 8, but it looked full with 5. Ehu available for 4 pitches only. No water services available. Quiet overnight noisy from about 7am. Hotel next door has a bar and restaurant. Short walk down to the lake.

Great free pitch!!! We had a wonderful sunset. We stayed for two nights and it was incredibly quiet. It rained on the second day, but that was no problem—we enjoyed a wonderful wellness day at the neighbouring hotel. Electricity connections are available for four motorhomes.✦Translating

On 24 March 2024, we visited the free, very well-maintained pitch for a maximum of eight motorhomes. Apart from an electricity post with four connections and a small rubbish bin, there are no other services. Thanks for the reminder to follow the parking regulations. We paid €2 for the kWh and decided to drive on the next day. We had wanted to stay for two days.✦Translating

Many thanks to this municipality. A very nice free car park with very friendly municipal maintenance staff. We would gladly have put a few euros in a donation box. Many motorhomers find the suggested bank transfer to a municipal account too cumbersome. Please keep it up and continue enforcing order there. Thank you!✦Translating
