Motorhome parking, busy road

We were parked in a long, tightly packed row. We slept well; the road was not too loud. In the morning, only the ducks, geese and children on the football field made noise, but that did not bother us. Reasonably level. We were passing through and only slept here.

Beautiful place for nothing. Unfortunately, I am now beside a diesel motorhome that has been running its engine for over an hour. It is probably for heating, but it is unpleasant and smells too. The spaces are neat and beautifully located near the centre.

Unusual place right next to the sports field and car park, but we had a wonderfully peaceful night. It is nice that the municipality created this place. Despite the time of year, there were five campers here with us.

Good parking area, slept well. After football practice, the children also went home within half an hour. We slept well and felt safe.

Excellent paved car park. It is next to a main road through Drachten, but we were not bothered by it at all at night. It is next to the football fields, where young people hang around when there is no training, with the associated noise. Once dusk falls, it is generally quiet. Great for one or two nights to explore Drachten and the surrounding area. Overnight stays are free.

Good, free camper spot within walking distance of Drachten city centre. We had a quiet night.

A motorhome site beside the road at the sports field. What more can you expect? You know it will be noisier. We are glad the site exists. The centre, with its lovely shops, is within walking distance. We were satisfied. Thank you, Drachten.

All spaces occupied. Parking is prohibited everywhere else. The road runs directly past.

Quiet, free motorhome parking, with the possibility of parking alongside if all the motorhome spaces are occupied.

It is a nice overnight motorhome site next to a large sports field. There is a petrol station nearby where you can use the toilet in an emergency, a five-minute walk away. Unfortunately, the cars on the road are very loud, hence four stars. If the five spaces are full, you can also park beside them. Very clean site!

This place was perfectly fine for one night. The cars did not bother us. There was still plenty of space.

It is a shame that Drachten cannot arrange a better camper site. Very busy road and no facilities. Maximum three times 24 hours.

Small car park on the edge of the forest beside a fairly quiet road. Bin and picnic table available. During the day, a few people walk their dogs here. A fifth star would certainly have been deserved with a slightly nicer view.
