This small parking area at the forest edge beside a fairly quiet street is suitable for a peaceful overnight stay. A picnic table and rubbish bin are available, and walking routes start nearby. Some dog walkers pass during the day, especially in the late afternoon and early morning, but this is not disruptive.

Great spot, I slept like a baby. A few walkers pass by, but nothing bothersome. There is a picnic table and a bin.

Very peaceful place near a farm and a hiking trail. Several people come in the late afternoon and early morning to walk their dogs. We spent a very quiet night. I recommend it!
Our pitch was on the right-hand side of the campsite and we were very satisfied. Clean sanitary facilities; washing and drying cost 40 NOK. The outdoor pool can be used for €7, although we simply swam in the river. The left side of the campsite seemed very overcrowded, partly because of the many long-term campers. Excellent cycling opportunities, and shopping is available in Gol, three kilometres away.
