Lakeside picnic parking, busy road noise

The spot is right next to a fairly busy and therefore very noisy road. But what is much, much worse are all the northern-lights tour buses from Rovaniemi. A new bus arrives every five minutes, and it feels as if every passenger slams the door individually.✦Translating

This is a very small parking lot and it isn't very spacious and in summer during the day it was noisy because it is close to a busy road. The picnic area was also a bit run down.

Magnificent spot by the frozen lake in winter, which you can walk on. We saw a beautiful sunset. In the evening, going onto the frozen lake must be a good place to watch the northern lights, but unfortunately we did not see any that night. However, it is really right beside the road on a straight stretch, so it is noisy.✦Translating

Nice parking lot by the lake, with no toilet or trash bin. Very suitable for overnight stays; there is no litter lying around!✦Translating
