Flat and fairly spacious pitch for our van, allowing us to settle in comfortably. Clean sanitary facilities, hot shower included in the price. Swimming pool and playground.
This campsite is listed in the guidebooks as a four-star campsite, so we wanted to end our vacation with two days of luxury. Well, forget it: it is only accessible by phone. The restaurant was supposedly opening at 5 p.m., but it didn't. The heated pool? Not at all—it is closed because there was a thunderstorm yesterday. If you want electricity, be careful not to get electrocuted. The fields in the photos look beautiful, but they really aren't. I think the lawnmower...
We were here today. The reception was closed, so I called the number on the door. Immediately got the answering machine. I called three more times but never got an answer, and they didn't call back either. We were there at 2 p.m., after all. So stay away in winter. We left and went to Arlon instead.
Reception unattended and unreachable by phone!
The electricity was a little expensive compared with the information provided. A motorhome with two people, a dog, and electricity cost us 37 euros. The place itself is very beautiful and relaxing.
Beautiful, well-maintained pitches. The sanitary facilities were clean. When we arrived without a reservation, the reception was closed, but after a phone call the barrier was opened for us and we could pay the following day.
On arrival, our pitch was already occupied. We tried another one, but that was occupied too, so we took another pitch right next to the road. They said it was high season, but half the campsite was empty! One camper walked past with a dog. We had a fence for our dogs—Chihuahuas—and the woman lectured us that dogs must be on a leash and not behind a fence!
We were welcomed warmly and received explanations and brochures at the information desk. The sanitary facilities were clean. I was there at the beginning of the season with a caravan. I can imagine it gets noisier in summer, because ten people can stand in a circle and there are about 31 circles. The park also has many play structures for children aged 3 to 12. Personally, I think it is a beautiful campsite.
