A quiet campsite with space for about 28 caravans and motorhomes up to 10 meter long, mostly surrounded by static caravans. It has old but clean, warm and well-designed sanitary buildings, plus spotless showers and washrooms. A cozy bar without food and a small supermarket are on site; the bar normally opens in the afternoon until about 7.30pm. Pooley Bridge is a 20-minute idyllic walk away.

This campsite was a highlight in the Lake District. Good value for money. The sanitary facilities are old, clean, warm and well designed. The walk to Pooley Bridge takes 20 minutes and is pure idyll. There is a cosy bar without food and a small supermarket. I am writing this review after trying other sites. This one was my favourite in every respect. An absolute recommendation!Translating
