Central parking, tight for motorhomes

Central paid car park in Ascona, close to the lake promenade and town centre, with a playground and public toilets nearby. It is very tight for motorhomes over about 7m and awkward to manoeuvre, so small vans fare better than larger campers. Pricing is hourly (roughly 1-2 CHF/hour) with a daily cap; overnight sleeping in a van is tolerated without police trouble. Can get crowded or full on evenings and weekends.

This is a busy, cramped, expensive car park.
Not really a parking area for motorhomes. Maybe suitable for small VWs, but not larger vehicles. We drove in—and immediately drove back out.
Do not park a motorhome in this parking area; it is impossible to get out, the spaces are too small, and maneuvering is difficult! Poorly indicated in the app!
Very expensive but very central; we paid 2 francs for 40 minutes.
Convenient for visiting Ascona. But the walk cost me 4 francs!!!

Paid parking. Excellent view. Level. Quiet in this season. Bars and restaurants on the quays are within walking distance.
Paid parking, approximately €1 per hour; it may be full or very busy in the evening and at weekends. Otherwise, a great location facing the lake. There is a very nice children's playground and direct access to the lakeside promenade with restaurants and bars.
