Been here?
A quiet campsite with several motorhome pitches between permanent cabins. Water, electricity, a barbecue, kitchen and washing machine are available, while showers cost 10 NOK for 6 min. The reception is not staffed all day, but calling brings the operator, and the sanitary facilities range from clean and simple to somewhat dated. Some pitches can be muddy, and there is no grey-water disposal.

We do not really like campsites, preferring independence. But Sjoholt is a place we like very much, and this campsite is peaceful, with a really friendly welcome and a fair price for one night. We had a good time. Water and electricity available. Barbecue too. A few raspberries to pick... Thank you for the welcome and the very clean pitch.
The campsite was fairly full, with permanent campers occupying almost the entire site. The sanitary building could certainly use a refresh; the men's toilet door could not be locked, was misaligned, and the building is old.
Beautiful, peaceful campsite. We arrived without a reservation and were received very warmly. Neat toilet and shower facilities. Public kitchen available, so we could even wash our dishes in a proper sink. We took the recommended walk. Beautiful view not far from the campsite.
Somewhat older site, quite okay for one night. Reception is unattended in the afternoon, but a call to the number provided is enough and the friendly operator comes by and gives tips on what to do in the area. Simple but clean sanitary facilities; showers only with 10-krone coins (change available at reception). For 350 NOK (+20 for electricity), a fair deal.
Quiet, empty. Some pitches muddy; many of the cabins and permanent caravans look somewhat run-down. Reception unattended in the afternoon; register by phone and choose a pitch, then pay the next day from 9 a.m. Showers ONLY possible with 10-krone COINS!!! No gray-water disposal, contrary to what the receptionist said! Some people simply dump it there on the grass in front of the toilet building.
A very peaceful pitch. The toilets are clean and basically everything you need is available. Some things have been renovated. A kitchen and washing machine are available in the lower building. Showers cost 10 NOK for 6 minutes.
Sanitary facilities next to reception are defective and unwelcoming. From the campsite, a small road leads to the waterfront and the town's sports facilities (athletics track, synthetic football pitch, etc.).
