26 Rua do Muro, 7000-602, Évora
Been here?
This free, sandy parking area stands beside Évora’s aqueduct and city walls, making it convenient for visiting the cathedral and historic centre. Recent reports confirm that vehicles measuring 7.30 mts can park there, although the lot may be busy. It is next to a very busy road and is generally considered better for daytime use than overnight stays. Some reports also mention considerable litter.

We were able to park easily with our 7.30 m vehicle. The car park had plenty of free space. We had a breakdown in the motorhome and fortunately there is a good motorhome workshop, Tiago Pires, seven minutes from this car park. Tiago and his partner were extremely kind, and we left with the problem solved. Highly recommended.
The advantage is that it is very well located for entering the city, but it is somewhat run-down. The road is so close that the cars are very loud during the day on a Saturday. I would not stay overnight here. Good parking for visiting Évora, which can be seen in one day.
Great for daytime parking. I wouldn’t recommend staying overnight as it’s next to a very busy road.
Free and perfect for leaving your camper and going to see the cathedral and the center.
Perfect for sightseeing, very close to one of the city entrances.
Perfect for visiting the city, close to the ramparts. We spent 1 night here ... but there was so much rubbish of all kinds. Really unpleasant. 4 stars for the location.
The parking lot was fairly full for a weekday, but we were able to park right by the wall and explore the town from there. Very beautiful place, definitely worth a visit!
We had difficulty finding a spot at 1:30 p.m. on a weekday.
Great for visiting the city, although I would not stay overnight.
Fine for sightseeing in the town, but not for overnight stays. So much traffic.
Excellent as a parking spot for visiting the town, but definitely not for overnight stays: very noisy, with many motorcycles passing by.
