This is a very small parking spot near the Skjern Å river, with room for a maximum of 2 motorhomes. It lies directly beside a road, bringing noticeable traffic noise in the early morning, though nights can be quiet. Toilets, drinking water, waste disposal, bonfire facilities and shelters are available, with a local shop 150 m away. The surrounding area offers pleasant walks and nature.

A really lovely place very close to the Skjern Å (no view) and close to Skarrild, which has a fantastic museum/local archive open every Sunday from 2–4 p.m. It is definitely worth a visit. We heard a fascinating account of the town’s history and the seven airmen who were shot down and later buried in Skarrild. The town also has one of Denmark’s aqueducts, of which there are apparently only two in Denmark.

New toilet. Fine spot, we will return.
Bin and toilet available (which we did not use). A little close to the somewhat busy road, but very quiet at night; we were not disturbed. Very good for one night, with a view of the fields.
Really nice little spot, right near the Skjern River. Visit the cemetery where 7 English airmen are buried. If you follow the stream north of the river itself and walk east, you will perhaps reach Denmark's only aqueduct.
The road is certainly close, but I loved this place because of the nearby park with shelters and a barbecue. A beautiful little river flows here, and I had an excellent evening grilling hot dogs (the nearby shop sells firewood). Few services, but that is not what I am looking for, and it is free too. Thank you for this place!
Nice spot for two smaller motorhomes, beautiful area to walk around, really cozy. We stayed one night without any problems. We will definitely use the spot again.
