Forest parking, no overnight stays

This is a slightly sloping forest parking area for small campers, with a table, benches and a rubbish bin. The forest cemetery at Freiamt is reached by a pleasant walk. Overnight stays are not recommended: visitors have been firmly told to leave and warned that camping would be reported.

Was asked firmly to leave by two cars at about 9.30pm. Was told they would come back to check we had left; there was no camping and they would report us if we stayed! There were no signs to say no camping and it was a lovely spot. I wouldn’t recommend you stay here.
Slightly sloping ground, but a quiet place for one night. Table and bench available, with a rubbish bin.
We had no problems. Quiet, in the middle of the forest.
Beautiful car park, but unfortunately the people parked there were not very happy that overnight stays regularly take place here. We were politely but firmly asked to leave. No longer recommended.
Magnificent spot. Very quiet and clean, with a picnic table and rubbish bin on site. The first night there were three of us; the second night two. Around 5 a.m., two cars parked and about ten passed continuously. Near Europa-Park. We will return.
Very quiet place. No services. Beware, the parking area is not level.
