Camino de Valmuel, 44600, Alcañiz
Been here?
Simple, clean campsite beside a lagoon where swimming is possible, with a pool and access to walking, cycling and water activities. A Stop & Go stay costs 13€ without electricity, while one recent stay cost 18€ for 2 people, a motorhome and electricity. The sanitary facilities are older but usable, and noise from the nearby race circuit can continue through the night.

Honestly, really great campsite: 23 euros for 2 adults, 1 child, and 2 cats. The sanitary facilities are clean, the pool is too, and you can swim peacefully in the lagoon.
Simple campsite, very well located and clean. It offers a Stop & Go option for €13 without electricity. Perfect if you are passing through.
Recommended place. We paid €13 per night for two people with a motorhome without electricity. The sanitary facilities are somewhat old but usable. There is a fenced area where chickens, rabbits, ducks, a turtle, and a dog live. When we were there, the pool was being renovated. We only heard the nearby racetracks during the day on weekends.
We slept in our motorhome; the place is nice, next to a lake. The facilities looked fairly clean and well maintained (a little old, but I don't mind). The only drawback, which is why I give it 4 stars, is that there was noise throughout the night from cars or motorcycles on the nearby circuit. €18 for overnighting, emptying, filling, and electricity.
The campsite is in a beautiful location by a lake. It does need some maintenance, but there were lovely hot showers, so it was fine for us. The downside is that there is a racetrack next to the campsite, and when we were there it caused a lot of noise throughout the night, so we slept very badly. We paid €18 per night for two people, electricity, a hot shower, and a campervan.
Our alocated site wasn't level and because it was mud (due to recent rain) we'd a lot of trouble getting into position. Staff were friendly and helpful. Washing facilities were clean but tired with free showers, which really was the theme of the entire site, nice but tired. Great location though, beside a lovely lake and easy cycle to Alcañiz.
Cozy and family-friendly, 20 minutes' walk from the circuit.
Quiet place, flat routes for walking, running, and cycling, and swimming in the pond. There is a pool and the facilities are adequate. Price for two people, motorhome, and electricity: €18 per night. They are not strict about departure time. Be careful with the pitch sizes; some are very small.
Two stars because it is relatively quiet—except this last time, when campers were making noise until 3 a.m., followed the next day by a party too close to the campsite. It is worth noting that the campsite does not have its own food shop, and when we went, the restaurant was closed during the last week of August. What a disappointment.
Campsite not too expensive, €29 per night, with a clean pool and clean sanitary facilities.
Inexpensive campsite, facilities are old but 100% functional. They don't make a fuss about anything and there is no departure time. It has a pool and a reservoir right at the campsite entrance. Regarding swimming in the reservoir, during our stay there were official documents from the Aragon regional government showing the water test results, and the water was suitable for swimming. I imagine this may vary depending on water conditions.
Very inexpensive campsite with a pool. Ideal for a stopover. Old but very clean showers. It needs quite a lot of maintenance. There is no supermarket or bread service, only an external bar at the campsite entrance. The playground belongs to the bar and is in very poor condition. The reservoir is very dirty; the locals themselves do not recommend swimming.
Very inexpensive. There is no separation between pitches and no shade (we don't understand this, since the town reaches 40°C). But we had a great time: a guided city tour, dinner at the campsite restaurant, where we met Victor and his wife, inspiring people with fascinating stories! The receptionist was friendly and flexible about schedules. We didn't use the pool or washrooms, only the filling and emptying facilities.
Very inexpensive campsite. However, the sanitary facilities are in very poor condition, and there is a lot of rubbish around the lake. The animals there look rather neglected, and it was very sad to leave them there alone (a dog, many cats, and chickens).
Very good place to stay for one or two nights. Very cheap: €22 for three people, a dog, and one van. A little old, but everything is functional. The swimming pool is a blessing!
€18 for a van, two people, and an electrical hookup, including the pool. Café. Sanitary facilities somewhat dated; there was no hot water, and the toilets were in very poor condition.
Great little camp next to the lake. Easy entry. Very helpful and friendly staff. Pitches are not overly large but sufficient. Facilities are super clean although dated. Lots of hot water. Could use somewhere to hang towels. Washer & dryer available. Track around lake, 8km, easy walk or bike, flat all the way. Lots of cats :o) 10 km to Alcaniz
nice camping with a pool. pool gets busy late afternoon with all the kids. camping was not full. lot of places are not really shaded. reception speaks no English. restaurant was rarely open. they had a self service café. but make sure to have cash on you for this one. nice for hiking or watersports as it's next to a lake.
Highly recommended! Quiet, welcoming, comfortable, clean, and with swimming pools! (One large and one for children.) €16 for a van (2 adults and 2 children under 5), without electricity. They didn't tell us a departure time. We had breakfast in the café, and the activity leader organized activities for the children (very nice). Bathroom with soap, toilet paper, shelving, large sinks, playground, beach volleyball area, enclosure with chickens, barbecue, and more.
This is my second time here. The campsite is good: toilets, water, sinks, barbecue, pool, water fountains along the roads, and spacious pitches. €26 for four adults with electricity and a motorhome; you can't ask for much more. Regarding the circuit, one should know which was there first—it would be like complaining about the village bell tower. A quiet place to relax for a few days, as in my case.
Very family-friendly campsite, quiet, fantastic pool, and the lake opposite. €13 per night for two people and a motorhome.
