Peaceful mountain site, limited outlets

As another user already reported, I confirm that the free parking, filling, and emptying area is available from May to November, including electricity, although there are few hookups. Warning: from July 6, 2026, to August 5, 2026, this area is closed because of equestrian events. Municipal ordinance signs authorize motorhomes to park in Torgnon's other parking areas during this period, including where there is a no-parking sign.

Convenient area for skiing, paid only for motorhomes. Very few electrical hookups; the filling and emptying area is often occupied by parked cars. Snowmobile rides to mountain-hut dinners depart from here, with constant engine traffic until midnight, especially for those parked near the hut. The shuttle service to the village is terrible; it is not close at all, and the last run is at 5 p.m.

Very quiet area in an excellent location. Cost €9 via EasyPark or the coin-operated parking meter. The downside is that it is infested with flies—absolutely unbelievable. You can practically not open the campervan windows. What a shame.

Very popular place, especially crowded on weekends, with motorhomes parked very close together. The horses bring enormous numbers of flies, so keep the insect screens closed.

The camper area has been moved 100–200 meters. A paved parking area has been built, though it is not always perfectly level. There are temporary electrical hook-ups that work and are free. The former area has been converted into stables for about fifty horses. For those who enjoy this sport, the place should be perfect. For those looking for peace, coolness, and a little tranquility, things have changed.

The area is closed during this period (from June 16, I believe, until the end of July, as I was told) for an equestrian event. However, it is open for free loading and unloading. The drainage hatch is located near the fence and the water basin, making maneuvering with a camper less than ideal.

The electrical outlets are defective and (hopefully) switched off. The fresh-water tap is missing its handle and is therefore unavailable. But currently there are no fees, so that is okay. Otherwise, it is very quiet and rarely visited. We will gladly return.

The only drawback is that the gray-water drain is too close to the fence, making maneuvering difficult.

Nice place. Currently, water filling works with a wide-thread connection. Drainage is blocked, covered with snow, and frozen.

I confirm what was said in the previous comments. Beautiful place. Extremely crowded on weekends, quiet on other days. In winter, put on your skis and you are on the slopes. Cost: €9.20 per day, payable via EasyPark, which is very convenient. The payment kiosk accepts coins only.

Outstanding location, directly on the slopes. Drainage is inconvenient and often occupied by cars. Only one tap for filling and drainage. Few electrical outlets, and only on one side. In winter, parking spaces are not visible and nobody checks. Excellent price: €9. Waste separation is fine. It would take little to make this an exceptional place! On weekend evenings, there is a constant flow of coaches and snowmobiles taking people to mountain-refuge dinners.

A precious gem! Free water filling, drainage (including a nautical toilet if you maneuver well), and electricity in summer. Beautiful hikes start 200 meters away. We will return!

Excellent area, especially because the services are free in summer. I am removing one star for two reasons: the drain is inconvenient for larger campers, and the electrical posts serve only the spaces at the far end of the parking area, forcing everyone to crowd together with very little privacy. Just above is a parking area with more convenient filling and drainage but no electricity, and parking is prohibited on Saturdays and Sundays.

The area is unavailable because of an equestrian event. We parked in the adjacent lot, without electricity. There are two containers with toilets and showers, but they are locked. The gray-water drain is attached to the showers, so it cannot be used. Terrible experience.

Attention! From June 20 to August 10, the area is occupied by a show-jumping event that takes up the entire site. We stayed in the upper parking area, where they installed electrical outlets and provided the possibility of draining waste water. This event takes place every year, so it should be mentioned in the initial description.

Superb site for nature lovers, perfectly peaceful, with a magnificent view of the snow-covered mountains. Cool in the evening. Electricity available, though I did not try it. Free from spring onward. I highly recommend it. We witnessed the cows changing pasture to the melody of their bells, and numerous squirrels watched us. And so on.
