Picnic area, overnight objections

Absolutely beautiful little stop. Bins, plenty of space, lovely view. However..... you will get some local Karen that will come out, photo your vehicle, and tell you that you're not welcome, and its not a campsite. Thanks Karen, your comments are noted, and ignored.

Very good for a picnic, but do not spend the night here: local residents living in the surrounding houses are exasperated that people stay overnight every night. There are no toilets and only small bins, so the residents find rubbish and other human waste in their gardens.

Perfect for a one-night stop. Very, very quiet. Parking for at least five spaces; we were alone. Two picnic tables and a large grassy area.

very good spot! lot of space, the parking is perfectly level and surrounded by some trees and a grass field. Would definitely recommend, accessible for any kind of vehicle :)

A peaceful night at this picnic area, with a flat paved surface, two tables and benches, and two bins. A telephone booth stayed lit all night, and the internet signal was sufficient to watch the opening of the Olympic Games! A squirrel and a little rabbit appeared during coffee the next morning.

We only stopped briefly, but it is a great place for the night. Enough space for several vehicles.

Close to a very quiet road, level, with a bin and a beautiful view. No signs prohibiting overnight stays; almost perfect for me.

Very quiet place! Safe, with a house nearby. Very little traffic.

Stopped here to make some food and have a nap. Lovely spot. Road is relatively quiet and the ground is mostly flat. Picnic benches and bins provided. Also a nice big grassy area to take the dog for a bit of a run around. Didn’t stay the night.

Excellent overnight stop, very quiet.
