2 Barranco San Martín, 22440, Benasque
Been here?
A paid municipal motorhome area beside Benasque’s swimming pool and very close to the historic centre, with electricity, drinking water, grey- and black-water disposal, bins and video surveillance. The price reported is €10 with electricity, dump and water. Spaces 1 to 12 are fairly flat, while later spaces require levelling; space 1 is beside the disposal area. Recent arrivals have sometimes found reservations unavailable or the barrier unable to open, forcing overnight parking outside.

We arrived and there were no spaces available to reserve online. We had to park in the outside parking area with many other motorhomes and campers. It is next to the municipal pool and very close to the center.
We stayed for two nights. A very good and extremely quiet area. Spaces 1 to 10 are fairly level; for the rest you need leveling blocks. The village has a great atmosphere and the area offers many hiking routes and outdoor activities. Thanks to Benasque Town Council for providing places like this.
Nice views. Booking on the website & entry went smoothly. We came here the night after being told by Policia Local in the adjacent parking that we couldn't have our pop-up roof up as it is "camping". 4 stars as at this price we'd expect a toilet. Also, we saw many people using the water services without paying, which reduces the value of paying €10 which ends up just being expensive electricity.
Good service and no problem reserving online. €10 including electricity, dumping, and water. The barrier responds to your license plate. There were two other campers. Many campers stay overnight outside the gate.
We registered properly through the website, but filling in all the passport information was quite a hassle. We are now at the barrier and cannot enter. We called the phone number but got no answer. Very poor, municipality!
I have been twice and had problems twice: once I reserved and someone occupied my space, and another time I paid but could not enter because the barrier would not open. Both times I called the phone number shown, but nobody answered. When they finally answered, they offered no solutions and we had to sleep outside. Other motorhomes were waiting with the same problem and no solution. They also do not refund the €10.
The entrance barrier does not open. We called several times and nobody answered. Other users spent the whole afternoon waiting for the problem to be fixed so they could access the area; they were told a technician would come, but nobody showed up. We do not know whether access will be possible tomorrow.
I do not understand all the hassle with the data required for a reservation. In other places, much less is enough. This is not a hotel. There is also plenty of room for more spaces. A reservation made at 4 PM shows entry at 12:30 and departure at 12. What the hell...
Very good area, with electricity, a good price, and pleasant surroundings. Please be respectful and do not sneak in to sleep without paying, or park outside and use the services for free. Eventually they will ban us everywhere and the innocent will suffer for the guilty.
Both the area and its surroundings are perfect for parking and spending the night. Very close to the town center. Perfect.
The area is located in a place with wonderful, incredible views of the town, river, and mountains. Entry must be arranged through the Benasque Town Council website. It costs €10, with entry from 12:30 PM and departure by 12:00 PM the following day.
Area next to the town with all services, including electricity, for €10—it is excellent. I wish other towns would learn from Benasque. A beautiful town with many services and shops. The middle spaces are flatter.
Good place to sleep, although people staying in the outside parking area use the black-water dump and avoid paying the €10 fee. Also, this weekend the barrier was not working and they came in to dump grey water. If we had known, we would have saved our money.
24 hours, €10. Drinking water, grey- and black-water dumping, and electricity. Thanks to Benasque Town Council for offering this service.
Very good area with services and electricity. Very central for visiting the town and hiking. To access it, you must reserve through “reservas.benasque”. We recommend doing so somewhat in advance because the registration process is not quick. The reservation is for your specific space. There are 18 spaces; the last three or four are slightly inclined and require leveling blocks.
Terrible. You pay €10 per day and the water does not work. You call to report it and they cannot say when it will be fixed. They neither offer solutions nor refund anything.
They have replaced the tap that was not working. Five stars from us.
The drinking-water tap has apparently been disabled since August 24, when a review was already posted. I am giving three stars so this is recorded. Several motorhome travelers have reported it again, but this morning it was still not working. This seems unacceptable for a paid area that we visit very often. It would be appreciated if someone posted a review when it works.
The parking area is next to a paid motorhome area. Nowhere does it say that overnight stays are prohibited. However, the fresh-, grey-, and black-water services cannot be used; they belong to the paid area.
There is no shade at all, and on top of that the fresh-water tap does not work. We will not return.
Highly recommended site; you pay €10 per day and get your own pitch, with water services and electricity included. The app works perfectly and is very intuitive: it tells you which pitches are available each day and you choose the one you want. The slopes are mainly pitches 15, 16 and 17. The others are perfect. Thanks to Benasque Town Council. More places like this, please—we'll be back.
We booked in advance, which was a great decision as all the car parks were full. It is next to the village and you can spend a very peaceful night. The municipal swimming pool is next door; for €3 you can use the facilities and take a shower. We will come back when we return to Benasque.
Close to the village, but all the spaces were reserved for days. We parked in the neighboring car park without causing any problems; it was also completely full.
For three days we tried unsuccessfully to book because the app was not working. There are several car parks in the village where you can park, but only from 9:00 to midnight. The local police were driving around. We shortened our stay because of the lack of hospitality, despite there being several larger places, even near the river on the outskirts, that could have been made available. We left for Castejón de SOS, which is 16 minutes away on a good road.
Paid motorhome area with prior reservation via the website, paved, with all services and slightly inclined. Very peaceful nights. We must respect the rules if we want to continue enjoying it.
A great location for Benasque and a good price for basic facilities but be aware that there are diggers and other heavy machinery operating in the river from 8am until 6pm which causes a lot of disturbance.
Motorhome pitch, not a campsite—some people forget that! For a pitch right in the city, €10 with electricity and everything included, it is simply fantastic! Thanks to the municipality! Ignore the complaints from people who get upset that others also use the service station. Envy! If you do not need electricity, you can also park outside the barrier.
Very narrow paid area with 18 spaces next to many free ones. That means €10 per day for electricity, since the service station can also be accessed because the exit barrier is broken. We found space 18 very good. Levelling ramps solve the slope, and you have unlimited space in front of the motorhome.
No water. It has been reported for some time, but they are not fixing it.
It was full and we had to park right next to it. Even so, we were able to empty the black water. It is a shame they do not make it larger; there are hundreds of motorhomes throughout the village and they do not cause problems. However, do not put anything outside, as it is quite strictly controlled. Many restaurants, shops and supermarkets.
You pay €10 for an area 5 metres from 50 spaces full of free motorhomes :( The services do not work; the only useful thing is the electricity.
Very good motorhome area. It has facilities for filling and emptying, electricity and is close to the village. The swimming pools are next door and cost €3. Booking online is very easy. There is no shade because the newly planted trees are still very small, but it is fine. The only drawback is that the taps work poorly and hardly any water comes out. Otherwise, great—would return!
Impossible to register on the website! Crazy setup. And no one answers the phone to help. Beautiful views so 1 star above 0!
Full facilities and electricity for €10. You have to book and if uk don’t change language to English or you will never get an account. Pick a place in the middle, number 1 is next to dump station and the higher the number the more sloping it is. Town is next door over bridge. It’s a pity that the people staying outside for free still use the dump station.
Outstanding area next to the village of Benasque. You have to book online, but it works very well. It is next to the river and very pleasant. There is a car park next door, and some motorhomes also use the area's facilities. We stayed for two nights and liked it very much; the village festival was also taking place, so it was very lively.
Very peaceful place. There is a good path nearby for walking pets. At the petrol station you can find many things for your vehicles at reasonable prices, and they are very friendly. I bought windscreen wipers and they fitted them for me. Exposed to the sun—hot now. One day there will be an incident with the people in the outside car park, who block the entrance and then make you wait to refill water.
Very well-located area with drinking water and grey- and black-water disposal. All spaces have electricity. Right next door there is a free car park with many campers and motorhomes that take advantage of these services without paying for drinking water and black-water disposal. We pay €10 to the town hall to stay in the area, while those in the free car park get almost all the services. Discriminatory? The town hall should review this.
