Been here?
This is a small, quiet nature parking area beside a pasture, suitable for vehicles up to 7m. A clean dry toilet, rubbish container and picnic table are available, with space for about 6 vehicles. The lake is about 300m away, but access is steep and rocky; nearby walks lead through the nature reserve.

Very nice natural parking area with cows in the adjacent pasture. During our overnight stay, there was easily room for 6 vehicles. Clean pit toilet. Would gladly return.Translating
Basically nice, but suitable for vehicles up to 7 m long at most.Translating
Perfect place to spend a quiet night in the middle of nature! Very clean dry toilet with toilet paper.Translating
Great parking area with a toilet. We stayed here with 3 other campers. You can take a lovely walk through the nature reserve from here.Translating
We spent a wonderfully quiet night here. About 300 m down to the lake, and all you can hear is silence.Translating
Nice little place. I was initially alone, but more campers arrived. Very quiet.Translating
A little bit uneven parking spot with a wonderful view, free and clean toilet. If you have camping gear there is a windshelter with fireplace and logs a few hundred meters walk.
Great parking area for one night. It was very quiet and we were alone. Pit toilet in the parking area. The lake is nearby.Translating
Easy-to-reach parking area, quiet and very dark at night. Very clean toilet; do NOT empty the toilet here. There is a rubbish container and an information board. Pleasant stop!Translating
Ok spot, nothing special. Surrounded by nature
We arrived around 9 p.m.; there was only one other camper and a car, so plenty of space. A steep, rocky path led down to the lake. Unfortunately, because of the steep rocks and stronger waves, getting into the water was not easy. The night was very quiet. Toilet and picnic table/benches available.Translating
The place is a small gravel area beside a paddock. The five-star view is reached by walking through the nature reserve for five minutes. Then you get a deluxe view of the rocky lakeshore. Definitely recommended for a stopover; we do not like it for overnight stays.Translating
Lovely quiet place, with a short walk leading to a breathtaking lakeside. With a little determination, you can also find places to get into the water.Translating
We couldn't find the beach, but we did find an exciting natural harbor, a bivouac site and a fantastic fire pit very close by, with free wood. You can barbecue there with a superb view over the lake—a dream. The toilet is also perfectly fine, and there was always enough space for everyone.Translating
Small parking area providing access to a nature reserve, right next to a field with cows. You can hear the motorway faintly in the distance. The toilets are clean and supplied with paper. Slightly sloping. The only problem is the inconsiderate behavior of campers who arrive after 11 p.m. and force themselves into spaces when there are none left.Translating
Very cozy place. 200 meters away there is a beautiful viewpoint where you can enjoy the view over Lake Vättern. The cows were right outside the site when we woke up in the morning. The toilet is okay, but remember to bring wet wipes after using it; there is no water.Translating
We spent one night here. The site is quiet and slightly sloping, but the lower part is fairly level. The toilets are clean and have toilet paper. It is worth taking a walk toward the lake; there are impressive views.Translating
Beautiful spot with an excellent sunset over Sweden's largest lake, but there are many ticks in the grass. Several hiking trails start from the parking area. Public dry toilet, fairly clean.Translating
Nice and cozy place. There were 3 cars when we arrived, and then a fifth small car came after us. But it was full then. Quiet and peaceful place. The toilet was not open when we were there, but we have a toilet in the motorhome. Perfect place to stop for one night while traveling. We will come here again.Translating
Very quietly located; you should be self-sufficient. Only a pit toilet. No water, etc. But there are lovely walking paths too.Translating
Very easy place to find. Final 400m down a narrow road but you can see anything coming and only the last 50m or so is gravel. We were the only vehicle there so reasonably flat at the bottom of the car park but the rest is sloping. Very peaceful and quiet night's sleep.
Magnificent pitch with clean dry toilets. Two bins. No services. Access to the lake in 10 minutes, fairly steep. Barbecue 100 m away with logs provided, from where you can see a splendid sunset.Translating
Visited the site in April 2025 and were completely alone with our motorhome. Fantastic walking trails and also a viewpoint with a barbecue and firewood. There were also benches with tables. I can really recommend everyone visit this place overlooking Lake Vättern at sunset. It is free to stay here. There is also a toilet.Translating
