Getnö Gård, 362 96, Ryd
Been here?
A large, scenic campsite in the middle of Lake Åsnen, surrounded by forest and nature, with pitches including some directly by the lake. It is well suited to paddling, fishing and hiking, with three routes starting from the site, plus canoe and bicycle rental, a café and bread orders. Prices include 270 SK without electricity, but the campsite has too few showers, toilets, washing-up points and only one washing machine and dryer, causing queues.

Beautiful grounds, although currently fully occupied and accordingly crowded. There were queues at the washing-up area, a swimming-pool atmosphere at the bathing area, and in the evening it was naturally noisy because of the many people walking past. Perhaps we were simply unlucky with our pitch, but it was really hectic. Price okay. Fire pits currently unusable.Translating
Beautiful campsite that seems considerably smaller than it is because of the rugged terrain. Spacious pitches, although some are very uneven. Great on-site service with a café and bread orders, as well as canoe and bicycle rental. Unfortunately, there are very few showers and washing-up areas, causing queues, and the hot water is partly used up during peak times.Translating
The positive thing is that even during peak season you can easily get a pitch spontaneously. For 270 Slovak koruna without electricity, we were able to park our camper on a small site, despite a huge queue ahead of us at check-in. The negative is really the number of service buildings. Only one washing machine! And there is almost always a queue for the toilet. The lake and surrounding nature are really beautiful.Translating
A very beautiful campsite with friendly and helpful staff. The only drawback is the inadequate infrastructure. There are too few showers and toilets for the size of the site. There is also only one washing machine and dryer, causing long waiting times, and there could be more rubbish stations. Nevertheless, the site, showers, and toilets were all clean.Translating
In 40 years of camping, this is one of the most beautiful places we have stayed. The camping vehicles are loosely arranged among or at the edge of magnificent trees, including pitches directly by the lake. We were also very enthusiastic about the Midsummer festival. By the way, we had no problem with mosquitoes at that time. Many thanks to Ingrid Olsson's team! Jochen and Regine from Darmstadt.Translating
Although the campsite is not small, it is quiet and beautifully situated by the forest and lake. You can start three different hiking routes directly from the site. There is a fenced dog park. The reception has excellent information material for your stay. The showers and toilets are clean.Translating
We drove there with a camper without a reservation. It turned out to be a wonderful place. It is a large campsite with large pitches. At every pitch you can make a fire in an old truck rim. So bring a bag of firewood if you are coming this way. The view of the lake is beautiful. It is a wonderful place for young families and older people.Translating
In the end, everything worked out. We stayed for two nights. The pictures here are somewhat misleading, because it is a large campsite with several houses that can also be rented. There is a large reception, a bar, and the option of having coffee in the afternoon. The owners are very friendly. There were many children on the site—it is definitely family-friendly, with a playground and so on.Translating
We stayed for three nights and were very satisfied. Cozy place. Everything well distributed. Clean and tidy.Translating
We stayed here for three nights. We liked it very much and went on some lovely hikes. The site is very well maintained.Translating
What a beautiful location! Staff and owner Ingrid go out of their way to make every guest happy. Midsummer they offered a typical Swedish buffet and the traditional strawberry cake was the best I have ever eaten‼️ You can wander through the surrounding woods right from the campground. Some of the sanitary facilities could use a renovation, but are all clean‼️Best campground in Sweden so far. Translating
Beautiful campsite in the middle of nature. Everything you could need is available. Electricity is included in the price of just over €40. Highly recommended.Translating
An absolutely stunning place, right in nature. Great hiking trails start directly from the site, and you can take wonderful bike rides from here. Very friendly staff at reception. There are fire bowls on site, and some pitches have a wooden bench and table. Highly recommended!Translating
Great campsite, very beautiful view of the lake, clean sanitary facilities. Highly recommended for about €45 per night with a rooftop tent!Translating
A very simple, nature-oriented campsite. Also a good starting point for anglers. We stayed directly by the water for five nights and could leave the boat on the water in front of the motorhome. You can either rent a boat or launch your own.Translating
Beautiful nature campsite by the water! You can choose between different types of pitches, with corresponding prices. Front row by the lake: 450 SEK per night including electricity. Amazing view. The sanitary facilities were very clean and new for us.Translating
May 2026: very few campers, beautiful location, one sanitary block open; it has been completely renovated and is very clean. No negative comments. Pitches by the water cost 450 SEK per day including electricity.Translating
Fantastic view with a fire pit and wooden table. Firewood could be bought for 100 SEK. Friendly staff. Bread service. Some sanitary cabins are old but clean. Shower included, although the shower button has to be pressed again every minute. Dog shower and fenced dog park available. Camping integrated into nature, so most pitches are very sloping—one star deducted.Translating
Beautiful place, highly recommend. Facilities maybe not the newest but the view recompense this. Great service station - all in one place. You can rent kayaks and canoes at the reception - 600kr and 1000kr deposit for a double kayak. Translating
Very friendly staff. Absolutely too few sanitary buildings for the size of the site, although they are clean, and it is not even peak season! Only one sanitary building for emptying chemical toilets, resulting in long walks. Mostly sloping pitches.Translating
Backlog of investment everywhere you look. Washhouses and toilets are completely outdated and in poor condition. Even the new washhouses already show signs of deferred maintenance. Clogged sinks, etc. In return, every square meter seems to have been used to squeeze in another pitch. It could be so beautiful, but it is not. We will not return.Translating
Of the two washing machines, only one works, and you cannot really call it functional. One load took us 2.5 hours instead of the 60 minutes shown on the display. Afterwards there was still a lot of detergent in the laundry, and it was very wet. After drying, the laundry was as wet as it normally is straight out of the washing machine. Price...Translating
Five stars for this nature-oriented campsite. Some of the service buildings have been renovated. Hot water for showers is free. You may make a fire at every pitch. Definitely book in advance during peak season. After mid-August, we were able to get a place without a reservation.Translating
We stayed here for three nights. Very beautiful nature campsite. Friendly, helpful staff. Criticism: hot shower water was available only intermittently; the toilet and shower facilities need modernization; too few dishwashing stations; electrical outlets are sometimes very far away, over 30 meters in our case; pitches are partly very sloping; maximum length limits are not specified. Nevertheless, we will return because the site itself is wonderfully beautiful!Translating
Lovely idyllic location, friendly and helpful staff, and a lovely little café. Plenty of recreational activities. Pitches are generously spaced, but some are too sloping and stony to get your pegs into the ground. The amenity blocks are far away, and there are too few toilets and showers. The shower temperature is preset and too cold for me, and it did not remain consistent. There are too few washing-up sinks, so you often have to queue.Translating
Great pitches with a view, but the sanitary facilities made us move on.Translating
We stayed for two nights with our motorhome and family on a beautifully located pitch. The surrounding hiking trails were well signposted and also suitable for mountain biking. Unfortunately, some sanitary facilities needed renovation and were not always clean, and hot water was not always available. The rubbish containers were unfortunately open, attracting many wasps and other insects. Otherwise, excellent.Translating
Beautifully situated site. Pitch 23 is recommended. There is one functioning washing machine, but too few; it was constantly occupied. The sanitary facilities are partly extremely outdated. Whether the hot water worked was sometimes a lottery. We had hoped for a little more.Translating
Prices vary by location: blue 290, orange 350, and purple 400 SEK with electricity. The lakeside location is very idyllic. The sanitary facilities are very outdated and vary considerably depending on the service building; there is little hot water in the evening. Because campfires are allowed at every pitch, there can be a lot of smoke and unpleasant smells in the evening. Pitches are often very uneven; orange and purple pitches are partly level. Too expensive for what is offered.Translating
Very beautiful, clean campsite directly on Lake Åsnen. Each pitch has its own fire pit, and many also have a seating area—very cozy! The sanitary facilities are excellently maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Great nature and a peaceful location, ideal for relaxing. We felt very comfortable!Translating
