Been here?
4x4 access only
Getting here needs an off-road vehicle. Check your ground clearance before setting off.
Secluded off-road spot 150 meters from the main road, with a narrow, steep and uneven access track. Recent reports say a 4x4 is needed after rain, as vans may be unable to climb back out. The river access is poor, the water is foamy, and the area has a firepit.

Do not go here with a motorhome if it has rained or is raining. Otherwise, a nice wild-camping spot!Translating
Only with a 4x4; as soon as it rains, you cannot get the van up the mountain. Otherwise, a nice spot. But 30 metres farther on the other side is a more accessible place. I am now waiting for the tow truck...Translating
Well, I don’t know. The approach is manageable for vans, but the spot itself did not impress us. No nice view, no proper access to the river, and the water is very foamy. The bench has seen better days, and I can also imagine that you would not get back up when it is wet. I cannot really agree with the previous reviews. We drove on.Translating
Great spot for a quiet night, not too many mosquitoes. The road down is narrow and a little bumpy, but not a problem. Great river for fly-fishing, some fishermen came by and said hello. During the day there was a lot of arial activity, maybe a military sight near by, but during the night nothing.Translating
The most beautiful spot in Norway so far! We stayed for two nights and nobody else came by, so it was very secluded. The river water is not the best quality, with foam forming. There is a fire pit.Translating
One of the best spots we found in northern Norway! Off the road, among fir trees. We got there relatively easily with a 6-metre vehicle. Great clear lake for swimming. Free of rubbish.Translating
The place is amazing. Perfect for staying over night or two. Road nearby is not audible thanks to the constant sound of river - be aware if you have shallow sleep. Access road is steep, narrow but stable, shouldn’t be an issue to get in or out even after the rain. Just take note that the place is pretty small - max for 2 camper vans and only if you don’t mind standing basically next to each other. There is very little turning space at the end so please check first by foot if the place is free - you can leave the car on the main road, there is a bay to do so. Translating
Idyllic spot with a barbecue area and wooden hut. Located directly by the river (mosquitoes!). The gravel road from the main road down to the overnight area is unsuitable for larger motorhomes. It may be best to walk it first and assess it. There are three parking spaces.Translating
