201 Seestrasse, 3800, Unterseen
Been here?
Large campsite directly on Lake Thun, with modern heated sanitary blocks, a shop, restaurant and washing machines/dryers. Prices run roughly 45-70 CHF for two people depending on lake proximity and electricity, with a discount for hard-standing pitches back from the water. Reception issues a free guest card for bus and boat travel to Interlaken. Nights are generally quiet, pitches are spacious and level, and staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful, though sanitary buildings vary in age and check-in can feel disorganised at peak times. Dogs are allowed on-site but not on the main lake beach.

Really nice camping, nice beach, good showers and toilets. It was not that cheap, for 2 people with combi car 1 night 62 CHF.
In my opinion, not suitable for small children (up to 3 years old). Most of the sanitary facilities are really showing their age. Check-in is very chaotic. However, the people at reception are totally friendly.Translating
An EXCELLENT site - our 3rd year running. Direct access to the lake, 4 facility blocks, games room, communal TV / living room, football field, kayak hire next door, good shop, excellent links to do and see stuff etc etc and actually pretty well priced.
Reception very friendly, but an unusually large amount of paperwork for my taste. You get free travel passes for buses and boats, but we did not use them. Sanitary facilities somewhat dated but clean. Dogs are allowed on the campsite, but not on the beach by the lake! Incomprehensible.Translating
We paid 72.20 swiss franks per night for 6 nights. great camping, expensive, but you get what you pay for. Hot showers, choose your pitch, we were directly on the lake, stunning. We visited over 20 years ago with the kids, they loved it, we will return, thanks for a great stay
Great campsite directly on the lake. Great restaurant on site.Translating
Very quiet, sanitary facilities a little old but very clean. Progressive pricing if you are close to the lake (not mentioned at reception).Translating
we stayed here for 2 nights. Easy access for busses to hiking trails with the tourist pass and we even used it for the ferry into interlaken. Reception was nice and everything we needed. After a big day of hiking it’s beautiful to sit by the lake and swim! highly recommend
Excellent place to stay; you can shower, cook, wash dishes, wash and dry clothes. It has a play area and a mini-market, very complete for continuing your trip. It is next to Lake Thun and it is beautiful. It costs 14 CHF per person per night, and washing and drying clothes costs 5 CHF each.Translating
Very nice place with old trees. Friendly staff and a restaurant on site. Located directly by the water; dogs can swim five minutes away.Translating
Campsite with very friendly and accommodating staff. The sanitary facilities are clean and plentiful. We spent the night here in a van on May 24. The campsite was full; we got the last pitch.Translating
We loved this campsite. We stayed 4 nights right in front of the lake. The facilities are very clean and modern. It’s a very pleasant campsite with friendly staff and a great atmosphere. There is also a very practical mini market with fresh bread and pastries in the morning. We definitely recommend it!
Incredible campsite!! We planned to stay 1 night but did 2 instead because we loved it so much. Staff are absolutely lovely and very helpful, great English. Facilities are super nice and clean. Had a nice kitchen we used to cook our meals in and free, very clean hot showers. Beautiful view, and got tourist cards for free bus travel and tickets to the pool! Highly recommend!!
We stayed two nights here. In the low season there is a 40% discount. We paid €35 per night for the cheapest pitch, but it was close to the road. The toilets are new and clean.Translating
Great and very clean campsite! We drove all around the lake, but parking was too complicated, so we stopped spontaneously at this campsite—and what a wonderful surprise! A very quiet, family-friendly campsite by the water.Translating
Really lovely campsite! Several pitches directly by the lake. You can walk along a pedestrian trail to Interlaken (1 hour), or take the bus or boat (both stops are just a few meters away). At check-in they give you free tickets! Restaurant and small shop! Two other restaurants are easily reachable on foot!Translating
A spectacular campsite, with very friendly staff. Highly recommended.Translating
Great campsite, the reception staff were very kind! 45 CHF for two people with electricity, quite reasonable for being right by the water.Translating
We stayed for 2 nights. 2 adults and a campervan without electricity: 50 CHF/night, showers included. The sanitary building was from 2022 and very clean. Washing machines, dryer, ironing board/iron, kitchens with seating. The guest card with several discounts was included in the price.Translating
Very clean camp site and well maintained. Staff are very friendly. Cold/hot showers with kitchen dryer area and washing area all included in the cost. Drinking water available and grey water aswell, dumping area for waste and toilet waste available aswell. Cost around 60 euros for all this services and electricity is included. and you might need to use their convertor with 40 euros deposit.
It deserves four and a half stars; good location.Translating
Very busy and pitches very close together. No privacy. The food in the restaurant is delicious and the view (close to the water) is also beautiful. There are few pitches with a view. The largest toilet building by reception is spacious and clean.Translating
unfriendly, not recommending !!
Large, very well-equipped campsite by the lake. The pitches are quite good. Negative point: the campsite is beside a very busy road. Positive point: there is a bus stop allowing you to visit Interlaken.Translating
We liked the site. The beach is nice. More expensive, but still okay. The Landhaus restaurant was very tasty. The sanitary facilities are clean. There is a completely new sanitary building at the front. Very nice. The pitch was spacious and we could also put up our gazebo. The children's playground is across a very busy road. We found that dangerous.Translating
Stunning campsite, they managed to squeeze us in as we arrived last minute with no booking and got a spot right by the lake. Yes, it is expensive. But like I said it’s honestly a stunning place with clean facilities.
Great campsite! Great location, private beach where you can go swimming in lake - just simply walk through the camp. Toilets and showers are lovely and clean. Staff in reception are very nice and helpful. Our van couldn’t start this morning and both of the two maintenance site workers helped us, they used their tractor to tow us. Overall great campsite with lovely helpful people.
Lovely campsite; fortunately we found a place after a long search with no results. Good facilities and a reasonable price by local standards.Translating
Very beautiful, huge campsite, yet there are not many spaces left. Very clean sanitary facilities. Free transport and boat card. Very expensive once again, like all Swiss campsites for non-Swiss visitors. 66 CHF for a motorhome without electricity, 3 adults.Translating
Campsite next to the lake. They do not accept reservations for fewer than 5 days. I recommend arriving at 10:00, the checkout deadline, because by then they know which pitches are free. Next to reception there is a shop open every day from 7:30 to 21:00. The only issue is that Wi-Fi is not accessible everywhere and you get one hour per day per device.Translating
Really nice camp, right next to the lake with great views of the mountains The staff were super friendly and helpful, will definitely be coming back here again Paid 53 CHF for a car + tent without electricity
This is a larger campsite right on the lake, with all the services you could need – even a handy little shop on site. It’s really easy to catch the bus from here, making it a great base for exploring the area. Super convenient and a lovely spot to stay!
Really big and very nice camp! Very helpful and friendly staff. There is nice and clean showers/bathroom. Aces to eletricity without additional charges (we rent reduction for Swiss socket for 40 euro deposit). We paid 57 CHF/night for 2 adults, 1 dog, 1 van and we paid extra for wifi acces (3 CHF/24 hours for 3 divices). Next to reception is small shop and in areal is restaurant.
